It's Little India - definitely not Delhi... its more Chennai
Thank you for your comment and for clarifying that the area is more similar to Chennai than Delhi. I appreciate your input and hope you enjoyed the video! I wish to visit India one day 😊🙏
The predominant language spoken by Singapore's Indian Community is Tamil one of the 4 official languages of Singapore.
Little India was not designated by Sir Stamford Raffles as an area for the Indian community in the Raffles Town Plan. In fact, the Indians and Chinese were in Chinatown working and living harmoniously. It was known as Serangoon Road after its road name. It was in the 1980's onwards it was referred to as Little India which was the result of an effort by the Singapore Tourism Board to promote the preservation and celebration of Singapore’s ethnic quarters.
I might be wrong. Thanks for sharing. 😊🙏

We use both Little Indie and Rochor stations and it’s a place we come and go frequently.
We walked the large campus of the nearby La Salle College of Arts.
Tekka Centre and Tekka place also have delicious items and are convenient!
Every time we walk in Little India, we can smell Indian spice.🎶
We were shown a clear video of the exotic townscape✨

Little India in Singapore, what about the history they stay in Singapore
Little India in Singapore holds significant historical and cultural importance. It is a vibrant neighborhood that showcases the rich heritage and traditions of the Indian community in Singapore. The area is filled with colorful shops, markets, temples, and cultural landmarks that reflect the influence of Indian immigrants who settled in Singapore many years ago. Southern Indians, Tamil Nadu, not Delhi, . Which is up north n Hindi speaking. Look diff, talk different
You are correct, AW AV. Southern India, particularly Tamil Nadu, has its distinct culture, language (Tamil), and traditions, which differ from the northern parts of India where Hindi is predominantly spoken. India is a diverse country with multiple languages, cultures, and regional variations. Each region has its unique identity and contributes to the rich tapestry of Indian heritage. It is important to appreciate and respect the diversity within India and recognize the differences that exist among its various states and regions. Thanks for sharing with us. 😊🙏
@@BDWTravelTV perhaps your title might be titled " little Madras of Sg"... Southern religion predominantly Hindu, even Christian, northern,Bengali,Delhi up north mostly Sikhism. But hey, thanks for the video sharing.glad you visited n enjoy Lil India. !
This is not little India this is little TAMIL NADU. 99% of people speaking TAMIL. THE TAMILAN LIVING IN SINGAPORE FROM INDIBENDANCE OF SINGAPORE. So don't call little India.
If this is the first class city like many said, then I'm incredibly disappointed. And I have not yet mentioned about the "F" rated climate that Singapore has.
I'm sorry to hear that you're disappointed with Singapore. However, it's important to note that Singapore is known for its hot and humid climate, which can be challenging for some people. Despite this, many people still appreciate the city for its unique attractions and offerings.😊🙏
@@BDWTravelTV but! It is safe. Probably the safest city.
Thank you for your comment. Yes, Singapore is known to be one of the safest cities in the world.🙏😊
Nice, but it does not compare to the real India. The most beautiful nation on earth❤

The vibrant colors, delicious cuisine, and warm hospitality of the Indian people create an unforgettable experience for visitors. Thanks for watching too 😊🙏
