That's right. That guy is there to order up a batch of the cheap ones.
Real ESPs are the best, not the E-II assembled in Japan with Chinese parts crap.
It's kind of ironic that an American brand like Keisel relies all on robots and calls it handmade while ESP Japan is actually using true craftmen and women to make their guitars.

@@BrandonShortSin Alex Skolnick Trio and Animals as Leaders. Pretty sure those bands have nothing to do with this video. Over 30 years of playing stadiums and writing for Guitar World may have kept Skolnick busy and Tosin Abasi, well His playing speaks for itself.

I had a dream last night that i bought a used ESP guitar at a discount, almost for free....i was skeptical about it, but as i tried it out it turned out to be the best guitar of my life...and i have 2 Ibanez guitars and a Jackson.
This must be a sign.
It was so light and elegant, yet not fragile but well made, it was so easy to play and it sounded much better than any guitar i ever tried.
Donno why i had this weird dream, i didnt even have an ESP ever.

Up to 9.44 was one place and from there another. The first part was from the place where they build ESP Original Series and the Custom Shop stuff. from 9.44 is another much larger place were they build the E-IIs.

whao... those are hardwood slabs they have in there! How in the hell do they so much of it. THAT lumber arsenal alone is exotic.. those are large enough to create 1 piece bodies.

No. Only ESP Original series and Custom Shop in that place. (Up to 9.44 in the video) then there's another Tokyo factory for E-II. LTD are made in Korea for the 1000-series and the stuff below that are made in Indonesia/China/Vietnam

It's a custom shop model. You won't see it in any store.

the factory KOREA where is ???? I never see !!! I am bought 2 snake bites black and white and say Korea there are not videos factory in Korea ?
hope to don't be wrong but this should be ESP japanese custom shop since "ESP" guitars are made in USA, while "E-II" are the ESP models made in japan (along with edwards guitars that can't be sold in USA)

ESP Original Series AND the ESP Custom Shop guitars are made at the same place (up to 9.44 in the video) and only in Japan. ESP USA makes series with very limited choices when it comes to specs, and is NOT a Custom Shop. The ESP Custom guitars are all made in Japan, in the Tokyo Custom Shop.
The ending with the line of guitars with their cases open just laying there. I got a stiffy. Lol

If you want real guitars avoid aliexpress at all costs.
No don’t buy a guitar on Aliexpress and expect anything not counterfeit. Aliexpress might be good for in ear monitors and maybe some accessories but not any major music gear.

I almost got sick when I discovered that they are using slack belt sanders. Those things have NO business being used on guitars. They're for DOORS.

Why can't we get video more than 15 minutes worth of video from ESP? What are they hiding, and why are their luthiers cyborgs with incredible skill? Really, they have several plants but everything is secluded unless you're a rock star wanting a walk-through. Actually, I just became one (according to my wife and kids), and I would like to see first hand how my "signature" guitars are made first hand.

I think they have dodged it because their isn't much difference in the way they build guitars in Japan from the way they build them in the US. In fact I am convinced that they dropped the ESP name from the standard series and changed it to E-II because it was taking away sales from their USA models. So they are now charging a $5000 premium to get the ESP name on the headstock and there is no such difference in quality to justify it. Here is a video of a guy that has all of the different model ESP's and he explains what all the differences are:

@@blessed7fold That's a sound theory, and I think a great answer blessed! it does make sense, but I still want to see a good walk-through of the Kiso, Sado, or the Takeda factories. ESP USA did a vid of their manufacturing plant, I just think we could use one for their Japanese facilities. Regardless, thanks for your answer, I appreciate it!
@@kogpressor You are most welcome and I am glad I could shed some light on it:) I have been a ESP fan ever since I was a teenager and I can totally relate to the passion that you and many of the others have expressed here about these guitars. I also 100% agree that they should make a walk through of their Japanese facilities. I think everyone here would appreciate seeing that and it would reveal how they make these amazing instruments. I just very recently purchased a E-II ESP Horizon String Thru and I can honestly say that it is one of the best guitars I have ever played if not the best. There is no way that they could make a guitar that good if they were not using the best materials and luthiers. So save your money and don't believe all the hype about the USA stuff. Take care my friend.

Notice how everybody looks tidy, act polite and are dedicated to their craft. A US factory tour will show you unwashed-looking slobs wearing Harley shirts shuffling around. MIJ rules.

I'm disliking this because it's not a narrated tour. Short cuts with music are great, but people like narrated tours.
That is good feedback. It was my first video and we were on a tight schedule and did not have time to do a full narrated tour. I just loaded an unedited version without the background music.
I immediately buy 2 ESP Guitars if they not showing this ugly e-ii on the headstock.

Looks like one of those chinese sweatshops. Everything a mess, crap all over the place piled up on the floor. But the skill of the craftsmen (and women) is completely different. ESP makes some of the finest instruments in the world.
I think it looks more like a custom shop rather than a massive factory that pumps out hundreds of guitars a day without any great skill or care!
