Woah wait a minute , the pool scene …. Am I missing something ? Did they cut that out of the movie or was it something they did for the trailer only ?
I think that one big character flaw in the character of Nick was when he was explaining to Darien that she "was too young for him." Instead of making her feel like a child, he should have rephrased that and said that "he was too old for her" then explained that he could get into serious legal trouble for statutory rape, and go to jail if he messed with her." Then tell her that he wishes that he was " 17 again so he wouldn't be out of her age range." That's what I would have told her if it was me. Then he should have told her that she's very beautiful and she should go out with some other lucky 17 year old guy at her school if she still wants an older boyfriend that's not too old for her.
Or completely change the conversation and to try to talk about something else. The difference between now and then is alot worse for men. Now you can literally get in trouble for anything. Looking saying any comment. Its horrible now.
as a WOMAN JUST SEEING NICK SEE THE POLICE OFFICER AT HIS DOOR WAS A SCARY THREAT IN ITSELF. BUT WE ALL KNOW ADRIAN WAS IN THE WRONG. PROBALLY WOULD B DIAGNOSED WITH ANTI SOCIAL PERSONALITY DISORDER AS AN ADULT. ITS AMAZING WHAT CAN HAPPEN WITH JUST A SUBTLE SIMPLE THREAT OF TELLING POLICE MANY MEN TOOK ADVANTAGE OF YOU ALL AT ONCE. HOPEFULLY THAT WILL SCARE THESE WHITE TRASH BOYS AWAY. JUST SAYIN.
Completely changing the topic wouldn’t really take care of the issue so he’s actually right about that in a way .. as long as he doesn’t keep leading her on . One problem I had with the film was he led her on THEN turned around and acted like she was the problem and he hadn’t also wanted her . She seemed disinterested at first interestingly enough but quickly warmed up to him
@@sofyacali21m64 I don't think he let her on by going into her closet and watching her change your clothes. He didn't know that she was coming into the room or he wouldn't have been there but she thought that he went into her closet to watch her change your clothes therefore she might have thought he was leading her on even though she was the one that really wanted to hook up with him. I mean it's true that he had no business being there in her room but he wasn't trying to lead her on by being there either
