The ELLIPSE II, ELLIPSE I and ELLIPSE ZERO has been a huge success for us and almost everyone who has tried them out tells us that they experience a smoothness in their skating like never before.
Now we adapted the ELLIPSE formula to suit smaller blade sizes.
ELLIPSE 3XS (skate size: 1-2)
ELLIPSE XXS (skate size: 3-4)

So I assume unlike the Superior or Quad profile the ellipse profile works like the single radius profiles and does not require sufficient weight and leg power to use the “gearbox”?

Hi Daniel! Better late than never. It's easier to hit the sweet spots with the Ellipse profiles. It's a more seamless experience than Zuperior and Quad.

Which profile si better for 11 years old hockey player. QUAD or ELLIPSE? He skates on Bauer Supreme 3S. Thanks for answer.

Ellipse has seamless/dynamic weight transfer through out the blade and naturally more forward leaning stance where as Quad has more upright stance.
