It did but it didn't. Reason for the adding of the seven woman was due to the ratings going down. Fans were growing tired of the same plot of BJ helping a damsel in distress as that was being beaten to death. So the network had to think of something quick or the show was gonna be dropped & in stepped the seven woman. But by that point it was too late as the damage had already been done & the show didn't last much longer & it was canceled. Bummer too, as I loved that show. But not all was loss. Well not for me anyways, as I have the compete series on dvd & in full color. Lucky me!!!

My country cousin out in California went on a 2nd honeymoon with her husband & all I know is, they flew to Germany on one of her husbands planes (He's a pilot) & upon returning to the states she called me & said, "Oh, by the way, be looking for a little something in the mail." Next thing I know, there was the complete BJ & the Bear series on dvd & in full color I might add. It was I guess a bootleg copy or something & lucky me, I own the complete series & boy does it ever bring back some fond & great memory's for sure! I even asked my cousin where she managed to find that dvd set & she told me, it's an "ask but don't tell" kind of thing, so I never asked again, because she told me she'll never tell. So I didn't press her to say so. Besides, anyone who knows my cousin, knows once she says something, there's no changing her mind. Just saying. Guess having kin in the big city DOES have it's advantages. lol She also sent me autographs of Linda Ronstadt & actress Amber Marshall from the tv show Heartland of which happens to be me & my wife's favorite show & it's a show the wife & I have the complete series on dvd minus the current season only because it's not yet been released yet. But when it does become released we'll add it too our collection for sure. As for the autographs, I have both autographs framed & mounted on the wall of our home. Talk about being blessed, that I am. Along with my wife & our critter of course.
