The government only care about costs when it involves UK public services. Outsourcing already costs us an arm and a leg (literally sometimes). Outsourcing has infantilised service providers, removed responsibility from MPs, and kept our productivity low. You've got to wonder why so many MPs are ideologically married to such a model.

Jeremy Vine is the worst broadcaster in the UK. He presents himself as a civilised liberal patrician or a slightly bewildered but humane centrist dad, when in fact this whole schtick is simply a ruse to embed in popular discussion the most mendacious and overstimulating right wing talking points. His Radio 2 show is basically an audio version of the Daily Mail.
I actually despise Jeremy Vine they've had absolutely abhorrent right wing people and false news on their show, with as much integrity as the SUN newspaper.

It just sucks seeing this happen knowing full well that refugees actually have no idea about the UKa situation. Our situation is actually pretty good and it's a very good safe country. But even if it wasn't we know that refugees fleeing here don't know that.
There is no proven link between the policies implemented and the amount of refugees attempting to come to the UK.
Only place I have seen this working is Australia. Where it was done for so long and so notoriously that it actually had some impact.
Only way this works is if we basically have concentration camps and brag about it.

I would disagree with Micheal on Gideon clip in the first clip I felt the Police officer was stating at fact and then expressing his concern for his safety the fact is the police are there to ensure safety of all!! He is obviously provoking a reaction and set it up!! 😡
During orange walks protesters are rightly kept seperate. If an officer pointed out an obvious religious affiliation when ensuring the peace(main job), it would just be seen as fact not bigotry. If this were a trans women activist rather than an antisemitism activist, again, the narrative would be very different.

Seems to me, the risks taken AND survived by the refugees (whether from war, religious oppression, industry-poisoned land, or climate change) should make the survivors favoured migrants: with the coming global upheavals from the multiple causes of ecological collapse, this is a good time to breed for a mixture of luck, determination, and endurance.
