      Indeed Ross well said. I consider it an honor to be able to able to share thr story someone worked so hard on. Proud of Bruce and certainly find his work inspiring as someone trying their own project. Hopefully generations ahead can see this and hopefully some people can get inspired too. Thanks for the kind words as always

    Well we'll well, I finally met someone who loves old cars with carburetors! Great video, excellent presentation too! Bolt on a well set up Quadrajet ( It is my favorite carb to work on and setup) and drive the Wheels off!

    Really beautifully restored 65 Impala, I admire what Bruce accomplished and the way you filmed it. There's a genuine white 65 Impala SS convertible being left to rot in an old man's driveway here in Beloeil, QC... I believe it can still be saved by someone dedicated like Bruce, it was parked there a long time ago and was protected with a cover, then it got more or less forgotten, the cover started disintegrating and was never replaced. What a shame.

    • @SubdivisionAuto
      @SubdivisionAuto  Před 9 měsíci

      Wow that is quite a story... that sounds like it could be a savable project... could gather interest I am sure there are some guys around town here (Ottawa at the very least) who may be interested... Thanks for watching and commenting really interesting comment. Yeah Bruce is one-of-a-kind his chevelle video is quite impressive too he did an amazing job... and he will be back for season 3 for sure. Do you think the owner of this car would be willing to sell it?

    • @65283impala
      @65283impala Před 9 měsíci

      @@SubdivisionAutoYeah, Ottawa is really not that far. Now would the owner of this car be willing to sell it? That I don't know but I guess I'd give it a shot if I was on the market for a 65 Impala. I don't feel I have the right to give too many details publicly so do you mind if I email you with some more info?

  • @johnnyduplantis

    Unimaginable, incredible, awesome, amazing... we're going to need to invent a new word.
    I've been around a long time and thought I'd seen everything. I have NEVER seen anything like this. Bruce must be 200 years old to be able to do what he has done. I couldn't have found the time to put the stickers and decorations in his garage much less restore a car. Restore multiple vehicles? Bruce is proof positive of other worldly aliens from an advanced civilization inhabiting Earth. My oh my!

    • @SubdivisionAuto
      @SubdivisionAuto  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Bruce is one in a million. I was lucky enough to meet him this year and he not only inspired me but also set a path for me in my own restoration. His work, game plan, effort and attention to detail enables him to make these masterpieces. Because that's what the cars are. I spent a lot of hours with him listening to his stories and advice and he is a wealth of knowledge. I am so honored to be able to share not only one but multiple stories of his! And I am happy to say that in season 3 of the show you will see 2 more cars of his. And what makes this super fun is the fact he just stated another car.... so Bruce will be a regular on this show and you may even see him appear on Rustorations when I get to the fun stuff. He also will appear on another episode that'd all about racing with his 68 chevelle. Like you said there isn't a word to describe what he does because he is on a while another level but I will say this we can also sit and listen. Thanks for the awesome comments as always Johnny!

    • @johnnyduplantis
      @johnnyduplantis Před 9 měsíci

      @@SubdivisionAuto I had a feeling he might make an appearance or twelve in future episodes. I don't know how you couldn't. Like you said, one in a million. (Adjusted for expertise deflation, one in a billion.) 😂

    to think that America used to make pieces of automobile arts like this
    and now it makes crappy SUVs and trucks
    just makes me sad

      Yes sir Willy. I feel like cars these days have no "heart and soul". Can't tell a hundai from a bmw these days and each is designed to be unfixable after some point. To think over half a century later these beauties are being restored proves the old cars were something special. What brought you here if you dont mind me asking?
