I wish they would have kept the “broken in” saferoom idea, brings such a cool sinister and unsafe feel to it all, especially for the last chapter.
It's always interesting to see how something was originally planned, but had to be changed for the better, or for praformance issues. But I won't lie tho, the last part is better on the final release because, imagine struggling climbing the ladder and waiting for the bridge to drop while being attacked by special infected or the other team. Imagine being killed before even start running on the finale. Betas will always be interesting to examine
i think that's why they changed it. it may seem like a good idea now, but it could've potentially been a toxic trait about the final.
This would have matched the l4d2 intro at the last chapter
This version seems way more Left 4 Dead. As in, dark, depressing and somewhat simple.
Kapin #1801 Honestly, the dark and depressing aesthetic of the original Left 4 Dead does not fit this particular map or location. A place like New Orleans is supposed to be lively and full of light, because that’s the general mood of the people of Nawlins. Taking that away DOES make for a bit of a nice aesthetic, but it takes away from what the experience is REALLY meant to be. All in all, it DOES look nice, but the lighter, more lighthearted tone in Left 4 Dead 2 wins over the original Left 4 Dead’s shadowy tone.

I think, in my opinion.
This is the best map compared with OG parish, this map is well-put together, some are short, but quiet different.
This would be the actual map, and if the originial map was an custom map, it would be the same thing "Omg this is better than this parish [the custom one]"

Incendiary The only negative thing about this map is that the first map is to long, including the amount of tricks it became to hard
