I can't believe this concert is 18 years ago. This has to be one of his best songs and performances. I'm using it with students now and realise how beautiful and precious this work (of art) is. His gestures to the crowd when they sing are an artistic performance on their own.

I'm 38 and my parents lately have been telling me how northern England was. It's unbelievable what they tell me about everyday life. Sounds so bleak and depressing. Pubs not open and when they were they couldn't be open between the hours of 3 and 5 or something like that. I couldn't imagine it these days.

Saw Mos at V festival a few years back , Mossisey was the show I was most looking forward to and the only one I remember seeing couldn’t tell you who else was playing that day. I confess I wasn’t a fan of theirs when I saw them in the 80s, so glad seen them live and a big fan now.
