I had the opportunity to engage with Ms. Evangelista on several occasions and she was smart, precise, and self aware. Big fan!
I met her back 2009 and I told her she was always my favorite model. She looked at me with those eyes and said "Awww your beautiful too!" I was over the moon! 😊💫✨
Whats not to love about Linda!? She's phenomenal.
My absolute all time favorite supermodel. And she has a real reverence for the art of fashion. Whenever she speaks about designers and photographers she worked with, its always with such great respect for the work they created together. And such gratitude for the opportunity to play her own role in that process of creativity.
She is an incredible woman. Survivor and thriver. I pray she has a long, prosperous life.

You have noticed that with all the recent attention for those girls from back in the days, it is Linda Evangelista who is getting the lion's share of love and adoration. She always got it from me, but I thought it was my secret. You all knew it too, didn't you. Make my day.
She was by far the most inteersting , most beautiful and elegant of them all, a true chameleon , too-she could just manage to look beautiful in everything. She had a horrible marriage with her agent , who abused her, she lost a unborn child with her french soccer fiance and she went through these horrendous health issues. And still she is so cool and graceful.
Most interesting? That's a big lie. That's Naomi Campbell and that's why she's the only one still working today.
She is so lovely inside and out! She definitely is the epitome of iconic and the number one supermodel of all time. She looks flawless and amazing!!! Incredibly beautiful and brilliant. Love her respect for the artistry of the fashion industry. The industry is just churning out influencer models now and they have nothing on the original supermodels.
She looks so amazing. I'm so happy that she had survived this heartbreaking battle.

I saw Linda in person in 1992, managed to get her autograph, and she was unreal! Absolutely stunning she looked like a walking mannequin😍. I do have to say though she was not nice at all and I was just a kid. Today she seems to be different person after all the bad things she’s gone through. Who knows what’s real and what’s not anymore. You can retouch a photo to look more beautiful but not your personality.

@@TombCat I don't watch The View very often, so didn't know Joy had work done. I'm sure she's had a few things done to look so great at her age but she looks natural and gorgeous.
@@scottgarbo1288 I don't watch the view either, I have a job and a life. And I'm under 45 years old! JOY had a full deep plane face and neck lift before last season. Probably some eye work too. She has less filler in her face now that it's pulled tight. So she looks thinner. It may look natural - but it's also very OBVIOUS. She looks nothing like she did 2 years ago.

I met Linda at her book signing in London and she was incredible and kind. I was speechless and couldn't get two words out, she's incredibly beautiful and will be one of my happiest moments meeting her.

As a retired nurse,five if my twenty year career were spent on an Oncology unit,I was surprised but also felt deep admiration for a woman who career was being on the front of magazines ,and alsi one of the “ SUIPER MODELS” say that her scars were something she was proud of ,the scars from mastectomies are incredibly awful,I’m in no way trying to demean any woman who’s had to endure one ,but they are awful,good for her ,she’s not only a survivor but a thriver .
In some other interview on CZcams the person who was interviewing her quoted her from the book, when the second time around she told the doctor "I want a hole in my chest, I don't want to look pretty, I want you to excavate. Do you understand?".
And Linda listened to that and laughed and said "And now I do have a hole in my chest and its freaking gorgeous".
I guess for her it's not just a hole, its a reassurance that there's no mammary tissue in her body anymore and she's not dying from cancer.

What a lovely woman, not just physically, just a great story.....sorry for her suffering, but such grace and intelligence and humility displayed there....I am a cancer survivor, different kind, but I think all survivors have a level of similarity in our stories and the ways we are impacted.....I would love to see her as a contributor to The View.

Over 20 years ago, I saw Linda at Schipol Airport in Amsterdam. I was a teenage kid and this was before phone cameras and social media. I approached her and told her I was a big fan and mentioned that I was also from Canada. She didn't even glance at me. It was hilariously embarrassing LOL
Well she was notoriously not very nice. Quite diva like actually. I also had a not very pleasant encounter with her. It’s like who does she thinks she is, Linda Evangelista? 😂
They say that Linda was very nasty to others when she was on the top. Age and illness has humbled her very quickly. I wonder if she ever thought about how nasty she was to others???

Many models of the 80's and 90's made their mark, but Linda surpasses them all. She was the prima donna assoluta of the runway in her time, in the very best sense of the word. What an honor it is to have lived during her reign.
Linda Evangelista was one of the most beautiful women of her day. For some reason she thought she needed cosmetic work which harmed her. She’s still a beautiful lady. Sometimes we have to accept that youthful beauty is a gift from God or nature but it doesn’t last forever. We change. If you are pretty when young and take care of your face and body, you’ll become a beautiful older lady. The key is to embrace that and love that part of your life, too. I think she’s still stunning. She should write a book about her ordeal. Something people may not realize about cosmetic work is this: women die on the table every day. Is it really worth it? Maybe a gym/spa membership and a nutritionist would be a better choice. She’s still lovely enough for print work

Linda aged really well. She is still a very attractive woman. My mom had a subscription to Vogue and Harper's Bazaar when I was growing up back in the 90s and I loved seeing all the pictures of Linda in those magazines. She always looked so amazing and was one of my favorite '90s supermodels. By the way, I noticed she seemed nervous during the interview, and I was wondering why that is?

After her experience with CoolSculpting, she said her confidence really took a blow and she sank into deep depression for years. She's probably still very self-conscious and anxious about being back in the spotlight.
