In hindsight it's kind of amazing it took them that long to realize Super Mario and 40's-style big-band tap dancing are a match made in heaven. They're both about extremely precise, acrobatic movement, they're both overwhelmingly joyful, they're both colorful and kid-friendly and singularly focused on skillfully, artfully, delivering childish wonder.

blackstarGOaT it's still garbage. I can only fit 4 games without needing to expand the storage and the controller is so tiny that's its unplayable unless you purchase the 70$ pro controller.
conkerlive101 uhh the PS4 and Xbox one hard drives have the same problem. Every game is around 50gbs and it can only hold like 8 games. You need to get a external hard drive just like getting SD cards for the switch.

Rose Mulet exactly ps4 and Xbox one force you to install physical games. You can just buy all physical on switch and dont need a SD card.

I absolutely loved this game. I’m sad to say that my first play through was just to beat the game but after two years that I came back to collect all the moons I can say that I appreciate all the thought and detail Nintendo went through with this game and I’ve been having a blast.

This song just make me happy! It’s timeless and just has so much heart. It weirdly feels like Odyssey has always been released, or was a title that came out in the 90s and is being remastered lol - it just has that Classic Masterpiece quality and vibe already :D What an awesome time to be alive!

The part at 0:30 kinda reminded me of Mario’s animation in the Got Milk commercial featuring Super Mario 64. But anyway, yeah this game is my absolute favorite Mario game. Now even though this game is compared to Super Mario 64 a lot and is said to be the closest a Mario game ever got to that game since Super Mario Sunshine, I actually think this was the Super Mario series taking a sharp turn from all its classic traditions. I say that because yes it is like Super Mario 64, but on the other hand this is the first time a Mario game was played like Banjo Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64, and even Star Fox Adventures. I guess they wanted to make this game 3D and really think outside the traditional Mario box for it. You can’t think outside of that box with a side scroller. What they did was make a change of pace from all past Mario games. But yeah I do agree though that this is the closest that Mario got to Super Mario 64 since Super Mario Galaxy 2 came out.
