Yep me too, actually my idea of a perfect Mario game is that Bowser was a handsome human prince before he turned into a hybrid dragon, and Donkey Kong is the real bad guy, well Super Mario Oddyssey 2 will have Pauline as the real love interest of Mario and Donkey Kong is a very smart ape or say Donkey Kong is the evil genius who turned Bowser into an ugly Dragon hybrid monster that ha been playing games with Mario ever since.
I mean when Mario defeats Donkey Kong he gives the potion to Bowser and let Princess Peach give him a kiss so he could turn back into a handsome price, kind like the princess and the frog kind of thing, but Mario is a friend with Peach and Pauline is Mario's real girlfriend.
Yet for the ending of Super Mario Oddyssey 2 will be that song.

Before this, Pauline was the damsel in distress in a few donkey kong games. Now she is the mayor of a city and singing the main theme in an actual super mario game! Take a damn note of that peach....

In all seriousness, though, I love this song. I think it just might be the best song ever! :D
Mario has been doing more than just vocal songs, he's been copying Sonic's animations\poses and now the color powers from Sonic Colors (rocket and lazer).
Even that weapon from the Rabbids(?) crossover game is very similar to the weapon used in the upcoming Sonic Forces game. Don't forget about the "spinball" move seen in the first trailer. The list goes on, but I fear I'll be labeled a "Sonic fanboy\girl" for trying to defend something that is not based on bias.
Anyway, I do want to play this game and enjoy a Mario game for the first time in a long time.

SaRayah Gilbert during the e3 play through, they also said the main quest of newdonk city is to help mayor paulina find musicians, and since it's confirmed that it's her singing, I think it's going to be in that level and her and the musicians are going to do some sort of concert, which you can also see at the end of this video.

Finally got to this stage of the game today, making my way through the amazingly creative rendition of old time 1985 Mario laid upon the very new and recent New Donk City skyline and buildings on my way to Pauline and the festival on the rooftop. I had a wide smile on my face the entire time. I am so happy I picked up my Nintendo Switch last month and a whole slew of games to include this one.
I love this song.

I swear I'm on the verge of crying because I remember 8yr old me wishing for a switch on christmas because I was dreaming to get a switch to play this game and then 2yrs later I get one and I play the game. I can't express how nostalgic this makes me feel. It's amazing how far Mario has come and it truly magical. I still remember playing it in GameStop, and all the hype the switch got and all the videos of people in New York waiting in line and everything. Ahhhhhh this was so cool and it is truly an honor to play the game.
3:07 sounds like every cliche anime ending that flashes every character for like a split second all joyous and happy and then it ends with the whole squad together walking away from the camera 😂
