Balor was the inaugural universal champion.
Ok we know 🙏💀
Exactly, not Kevin Owens…
Universal title was cursed . Glad that it retired forever after Cody won it
@@tamzidmohsinkhan3333it was retired long before Cody won. Roman unification was what retire it
@justinarchibald1886 obviously not Wrestlelamia as he called Kevin Owen's the inaugural champion
Bro really named every belt lmao
Yeah like how was the 24/7 championship prestigious to begin with? Lol
Ok, so basically this video names every title in the WWE.
Damn, seems they didn't like any of their title belts....smh
Your right but now the titles well now and the Prestige they lost Will return 😇🙏🏿🕊️✝️💟☮️🤗👍🤍🌟🥇🏆
@@yadielenielbellecolon982 the world heavyweight championship is treated like its nothing, the ic title is the main championship for raw right now
@@user-sv8lr8kq9i Your are right again in your point 😇🙏🏿🕊️✝️💟☮️🤗👍🤍🌟🥇🏆
Yeah
@@user-sv8lr8kq9iits okay to be wrong but world heavyweight title is now more prestigious due to seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre and CM punk.
Bro called KO the inaugural Universal champion...
Take a shot every time he says "title"
lol
Well it's a video about titles you dork the hell you expect
wwe fans aren't drinking age , and IF ,they prefer apple juice .
As I read this, I couldn't not hear him say it
Maaaaannnn, I really miss the Hardcore Title....It was such an embodiment of the attitude era and my childhood and I really wish it would make a glorious comeback and brought back to life!
*The Big Gold Belt was a thing of beauty. I consider the greatest championship design in the history of wrestling. It truly breaks my heart that the company decided to devalue the title in the 2010s era. The fact that they had the audacity to retire that built is a truly a cardinal sin.*
FACTS in the early 2010’s after wwe ended the brand split for the first time the world heavyweight championship went from the main championship on smackdown to a mid card championship.
@@cliffordjackson3 history repeats itself.
The title is always overrated by tons of people. I get it was the best looking title ever made besides the NWA Championship and the Winged Eagale Championship but still.
💯
Straight Facts
The 24/7 title was always a joke. Yes, a couple of people took advantage of the tv time. But, for the most part, it was worthless.
R-Truth having it was definitely a good thing though.
The European Championship at least had at least half a dozen HOF in its lineage.
A meaningless belt considering it was defended in the US by domestic stars
@@danh2134 @wrestlelanamia Cool WWE PLES naxt month and July and August 👍👍
@danh2134 Still counted towards the Gran Slam Championship and well.kver half a dozen HOF'ers have held it. It had credibility.
@@johnnycage112”it had credibility” yhh to wrestlers and executives but I remember that peroid and fans barely cared about that belt especially me as a European who laughed because hardly any European wrestler held that belt 😂
@intello8953 Yeah the last 2 years for it weren't the best
Going from the Hardcore championship to the 24/7 title will forever be known as the biggest disgrace
Alternative Title :- All WWE Titles That Becomes Worthless
Even better one: All WWE titles are Worthless
Man I miss Cena during the US open title matches. Those were some real fun matches and that match against Cesaro was my favorite. It was a shame that wasted talent like him and now the US title is on a guy that isn't out there each week. I sometimes forget it exists anymore since Paul doesn't appear as much
That is not true, Logan has been appearing pretty often.
Glad I’m not the only one who noticed that. I think they should only put titles on full timers
@@sonomni still he downgraded the belt though
@@sonomni How many of those times he has appeared he has been wrestling tho? Dude is pulling a Reigns and only wrestles on pay per views
@@sonomnistill a joke
Bro really thought that the 24/7 and women’s tag titles were once prestigious. Both were dead on arrival
Lol
The cruiserweight title was actually my favorite back in the day. Hated that it got retired
It gives off Medieval 🏰 vibes
@@malfaroangel3896 Maybe so. Like a golden crown or something
I disagree with their comments about the European title, because Christian, William Regal, Al Snow, and DDP had great reigns with the European title.
One of the best matches ive ever seen was jamie noble and rey mysterio for the cruiserweight tite on smackdown; it was incredible. None of the titles have meaning anymore except the universal and wwe championship
The thing about Jinder is he actually kind of deserved it. He knew he had to rebuild himself...so he took some time off...got super jacked...came back...had an awesome run during that time and even though it was "controversial" he deserved to win the belt.
People are just saying it's controversy because he is Indian and he beat Randy Orton for it.
Kevin owens was the second universal champion
no he wasn't it was Seth Rollins. Owen won the title off him when Triple H pedigreed Rollins.
KO was the first Universal Champion to have a reign for more than a day iirc
@@user-ez5ff6vy6m the title was vacant. The Fatal 4 Way match that Owens won by pinning Rollins was for the vacated championship
@@user-ez5ff6vy6mFinn balor was 1st
@@user-ez5ff6vy6m Balor vacated the title after SummerSlam, the title was vacant for over a week. Kevin Owens won the title with help from Triple H in that Fatal 4 Way match that included Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Big Cass. Rollins only won the title at WrestleMania 35 by defeating Brock Lesnar.
Honorable Mentions:
Hardcore title in 2002
WCW World title in 2000
WCW TV Title in 1999
ECW Title
WWE Women's title in 1995
The universal title was elevated by Brock Lesnar. Even Roman reigns had few title defences in his extremely long run!
Yo Cena hitting that Cutter was sick! He never really did stuff like that
It was a springboard stunner
There was a match where Cena jumped off the top turnbuckle towards the barrier. It was ECW against RVD
Cutter? It was a botched springboard stunner; that sums it up pretty well... 🤣🤣
He stopped doing it after failing to hit it properly EVERY SINGLE TIME...
@@tomseville2345Botched? Hell no. It was clean. What are you going on about?
I think part of what hurts the prestige of some of these titles is how WWE performs the brand split concept. Having duplicate titles on both shows lowers both in value. What WWE should have always done is have one world champion who can go between either show as storyline requires, make each midcard belt (IC and US) the main titles of each show and treat whomever has that title as the best wrestler on that brand, and have the tag titles also do double duty between each brand. Same would apply to womens titles as well.
I think the cruiserweight championship at the end was disrespected especially with Hornswoggle, as the last one to hold it.
WWE should bring back the classic look of the Intercontinental Heavy Weight !#The white belt
💯
Hell yeah
Billy Kidman did well with the cruiser weight title
24/7 title moment between R Truth & Drake Maverick was underrated
overrated , this is disgraceful to this business. Bruno Sammartino rollin in his grave.
RIP the Hardcore title. And European title!
RIP
European title made no sense, it was always defended in the US. What were they thinking?
@@danh2134 according to that logic intercontinental title and world title too make no sense they are always defended at us
Maybe they could bring back that big WCW hardcore trophy! 😅
@@thegameking3931intercontinental meaning within the continental US , similar to saying US champion . I guess world champion would be the same argument as it is only defended in the US
What about the WWF Women's Championship, Wrestlelamia?
Anyone remember The Kat (Stacy Carter) as champion?
Or worse, anyone remember Downtown Bruno (Harvey Whippleman) as "The Women's Champion"?
Or a 70 something Fabulous Moolah beating Ivory for it in the Attitude Era.
I still have that World Heavyweight Championship title. Good ol' memories
Gunther's IC Title reign and Cena's US Title reigns are two of my favourite mid-card reigns of all time.
They forgot to mention the Original WWE Women's title (1956-2010) which got merged with the lower Divas title, then that got retired.
No one made the World Heavyweight Title more than Batista. He made a career where his world surrounded that particular title
Big Gold Belt in Ruthless Aggression Era days were legendary moments
Facts, I say when Jack Swagger won the World Heavyweight Championship is when the World Heavyweight Championship was presented as inferior to the WWE Championship.
It's pretty much like this
2002-2010: WWE Championship's Equal
2010-2013: WWE Championship's Black Sheep
Gunther easily made IC title a World title level worthy which no other top stars evee did
Ngl I like the 24/7 Championship
I also like to do my own 24/7 Championship thing with my belt I have
I have an authentic replica of that US title, signed by Scott Hall. I know I know, Hall never had the WWE US title. He did win the US title in WCW a couple of times, I can make that " seem cool and unique" In my head lol. I traded a CM Punk Funko POP for it like 5 years ago 🤷
What's with the new Speed belt and why does it look like a rainbow? When I think of speed, idk if rainbow colors are the first thing to come to mind.
Randy and Christian saves the world heavyweight championship in 2011
Bro might have well as just listed every single title WWE has had this millennium
put respecc on my boi hornswoggle mannnnn
No joke, he was actually over
I disagreed when Sami Zayn had the international championship his heel persona was really good
The WWECW title should’ve been number 1😭
WWECW? No title of that name has ever existed.
I miss the 1998-2011 IC belt design.
New video released:a
Jinder Mahal: hey it's me.
Finn Belair was the first universal champion
i was so mad when he said kevin owens
Fin Belair wasn't the first Universal champ , but Finn Balor was..lol
Fun little drinking game; take a sip every time they say the word "title"
Best tag teams IMO
LoD, Demoltion, Heart Foundation, Rockers.
the atrocities wwe did to big gold is actually impressive like they took the best championship belt ever and somehow managed to make it the worst belt in the entire company like how does this even happen😭
Honestly it started with Jack Swagger
With PLE's going international, I think WWE should consider bringing back the European Championship.
But it can be defended only in europe.
@@LaughingStudOr have actual Europeans hold the title
The 24/7 title was never prestigious
Definitely the Intercontinental title until Gunther came along
John Cena made the US title prestigious which Logan Paul now downgraded it
It's been five years, and they still don't care about those Women's Tag Titles ya'll begged for🤣💯.
The world heavyweight championship is treated worse than the women tag titles
Universal title is way worst though lol
@@tamzidmohsinkhan3333 You're literally only saying that cause Roman held the belt. Nice try, Tam.
@@user-sv8lr8kq9i Maybe give them time to properly build the title up first🤔?
@@veilscarecrow lol yeah by holding the belt hostage by barely showed up & less title defence lol . Thankfully Universal title is no more with Cody dethroned tribal chump & the belt is WWE Champion again
Finn Balor was the inaugural Universal Champion, not Kevin Owens. It doesn't matter if Finn Balor held it for a day only.
I still remember the Ruthless Aggression era.. back when we had cruiser weight championship for like Tier-3 wrestlers, IC and US for tier 2 and heavyweight for HV and WWE championship for tier-1
Simpler times 😎
The World Heavyweight Championship belt and the ruthless aggression IC title were my favorite
Great content
WWE European Cruiserweight Hardcore Women's Tag Team (hopefully mid card) European/UK Championships need to come back
retire the women tag titles
Yep for NXT Europe
Owens wasn't the inaugural Universal Champion. Balor was.
Alternative title: Every WWE championship
Ricochet would be a perfect person to put that cruiserweight title on if they ever brought it back. Great mid card wrestler always puts on a good match
The IC title definitely feels like less now that Sami has it instead of Gunther. I'm supposed to believe the guy who lost to Johnny Knoxville was able to beat Gunther? It's pro wrestling, I give it plenty of slack, but that's a leap too far.
HornSwoggle is Best 4 Business
Take a shot everytime wrestlelamia says title
the 24/7 title felt like the PG era version of the Hardcore title.
😂 wow I remember as a kid we went crazy when Bret Hart won the IC belt from Mr Perfect what a shame I don't even know why they still use belts they mean nothing( just my opinion I hope they turn things around)
Ricochet as a new Cruiserweight champion would be sick, either that or drop the weight class and do something similar to the old x-division title. Maybe bring one of the Hardys back, make them the ‘Xtreme Champion’ (I know it’s not great 😅) and have them drop it to a newer talent and run with it
While giving credits for intercontinental title validity you should have mentioned the MIZ he gave everything for that championship.
So, in your opinion all tiles are worthless lol. What a mark!
I think the 24/7 title could have been good if they use it differently. If they rewarded the person with it. You know like who ever has it at this event gets a title shot or some other reward.
Hornswoggle downgraded the Cruiserweight title
They had way too much confidence in Alberto del rio. Putting the US strap on Santino Marella would’ve been 10x better.
Dayumm
Amusing to come on here and see people laud Cena’s open challenge with the US title, knowing good and well many of those same people deride Adam Copeland’s open challenge for the AEW TNT Championship
So basically every single title in WWE
If we talk about titles, matches, storylines, or managements, WWE in 2010s always be the worst time, so boring to watch. I feel grateful to have the chance to watch WWE in this era xD
You forgot the Women's title. It was actually retired a couple of times!
it's always the champion that makes the title and not the title that makes the champion
United States title was made prestigious by Cena, and back then, Intercontinental title was as close as prestigious to WWE title because of Bret Hart and Mr. Perfect
Dudley Boyz , Hardy Boyz & Edge and Christian made tag team division prestigious by revolutionized the TLC concept
In this video: Vince shits on a bunch of gold.
I still like Big Boss Man!
The one title that I think should be the absolute worst in WWE history should be the 24/7 belt. I hated it since day one and to see some great talent run after it like little children was just horrific.
Universal title was prestigious tbh!
So basically all titles lost their worth at some point
The second half of the ruthless aggression era/ first half of the PG era was terrible for most titles, we had stars like Cena, Orton, Edge etc who completely overshadowed anyone else and the only title that matters is the one they were going after.
Luckily things improved.
That’s also because during Roman Reigns’ title run, things changed with Triple H now running the company. He books long heel title reigns.
Basically all tittles😂
Tag titles headlined mania night 1 last year they are good.
The Big Gold Belt only had meaning when it was competed for in the NWA in the 1980's and in WCW in the early 1990's. Once WWF got a hold of it and just gave it to Triple H with him not beating anyone for it, It lost its worth and credibility and became nothing but a prop, because Vince would never allow an outside championship to mean anything in his company.
So, every title have been in this position
USOs versuses the new day reminds me of Brock vs Roman in the sense that they were always facing each other but uso and new day had banger after banger
IC title on Gunther and US title on the people that have held it between the start of Reigns reign are pushed as hard as it is because they were the only ones being defended more often than once a month.
The 24/7 title never had any worth to lose
It’s crazy how worthless the world title was in that era that it had be unified with the WWE title
I always thought the 24/7 title was a meme, for comedy purposes. Don't think you could actually say it "became worthless" since it never had any worth in the first place.
WWE should bring back the hardcore and European titles
When you said hindered during the Jinder part I thought you were gonna say the title hindered the Jinder.
Huh!!👀 Balor was the first Universal Champion by defeating Seth Rollins in a tournament at SummerSlam 2016, not Kevin Owens
For like a day
