      Hi, there are quite a few "live" videos posted from the cameras throughout the night. It can be a bit difficult to search through to find periods of activity. These two videos have timestamps in the description, so you can jump to the best bits:

      Thanks for watching !!

      Hi, thanks for the interest. Its going really well. Both hedgehogs (separate enclosures) are very happy. Cleanup crews are now well established. We had a bout of mushrooms a few weeks ago, but the isopods soon took care of them. 68 days since we introduced the hogs. You can see how they like it czcams.com/video/THt0pt2X4sQ/video.html (Use the timestamps in the video description to save having to search through 13 hours !!!)

    Do we need to do all these steps and if so does the measurements matter and can u put the hedgehog in straight away

      Hi Olivia, thanks for watching and commenting. The measurements do not matter particularly, its more about creating layers in the substrate. A good explanation video can be found from Northern Exotics https:
      //czcams.com/video/DQco4IXGfQU/video.html
      It does help to keep the enclosure empty of hedgehogs for some time to allow the cleanup crew to establish themselves, and hideaway properly, otherwise your hog will just eat them all. (It will happen eventually and you'll need to top up from time to time anyway)
      You can see the update video of 80 days after the hogs were introduced here:
      czcams.com/video/qeyZ-QuEXh8/video.html
      I have a video in progress showing how the enclosure developed prior to the hedgehogs going in, which shows the rapid growth in cleanup crew. Will hopefully get it posted in the next week or so.
