- Thousands of far-right sympathisers and nationalists march through Warsaw on Thursday in an annual Independence Day gathering after Poland's nationalist rulers helped challenge a court ban on the event. Critics say in lending a hand to the November 11 march, an event marked by occasional violence, the Law and Justice (PiS) government is giving overt support to the far right, as Poland faces unprecedented migration pressure along its eastern border. To tell, that these people are "far right" - this is simply lie. There are people of different political directions, however they gather there because they have something in common: they care about Poland. Some politicians (especially leftists) don't like this and that's why they try to discredit these people by calling them "far right" or even "fascists". Please keep this in mind.

And just so people know why so many police are there. It is not for the marchers but for the foreigners and some locals that are all leftists and want to disrupt the march because they dislike the unity the march represents. Before 2015 these marches were violent affairs but slowly the police have weeded out many of the locals that cause trouble at this event and have sufficient numbers to keep the foreign trouble makers in check. If you check the credentials of most foreigners arrested at this event they are all members of extreme left organisations not right wing but the media will never tell the truth about these troublemakers.

I am one of those far right extremists. I was marching in 2018. I love my country and I follow my religion. I have black friends, Asian friends, Jewish friends and Muslim friends. There was a large Hungarian flag marching pretty close to the front of the march, just behind the National Movement section. The National Movement (Ruch Narodowy) is a small nationalist party in Poland. I was just standing still, watching the march go by, so I cannot tell you what they chanted all the way through, but as they were passing by my spot, the National Movement guys were chanting "Ria! Ria! Hun-Ga-Ria!" in acknowledgement of their Hungarian guests.

Many generations of Poles have dedicated their work, suffering and life to the struggle for the survival of their identity and their values. Many times in history attempts have been made to destroy not only the Polish state, but also the Polish nation itself, sometimes in the cultural dimension but also in the form of biological annihilation. Poles experienced genocide. However, Polish People wasn't destroyed neither by hostile empires nor by the Nazis or the communists. They prevailed.
