I made treat bags for Christmas too. I love mint chocolate..
I told myself I would get bigger boxes, but somehow they were still too small LOL. I just made even more stuff , because I wanted them to be full. Packaging took me about a day, putting the cookies into bags, making and decorating my boxes. Making personalize stickers, menu cards ,etc.. Figuring out how to put things in each box , specially when they each have different quantities and putting other details like bows, etc... I could cut down on all the personalizations and little details, but i love those little things and I think it makes them gift even more special. I did 2 days of baking, and I tried to pre-make all the doughs that would freeze well ahead of time. That way I could focus on the things that needed to made from scratch those 2 days and baking/decorating all the cookies. Learned a lot and will definitely plan more for next occasion
Oh for sure! I definitely want to spend more time on packaging and the fine details next year. Way too rushed this year 😩. Hope you had a lovely Christmas!!
@@SweetDreamsBakeShoppe Had a lovely Christmas and I was inspired by your gingerbread macarons from last year, I don't have your skill level but they still turned out cute.
Nice job, but too stressful. You really need to take care of yourself and give yourself some love by resting 😊
Love this video 💕
I also made a variety of cookies and want to make some cupcakes for New Year’s by God’s grace since we’re hosting 💕
Do you have a Hobby Lobby near you? They always have great affordable stuff for gifting treats for the holidays, and they are always on sale between 40-60% off
Aw no I don't... I think that might be an American thing?
Where do you get your tins from? I would love to up my packing presentation, but the only tins I can find are almost the same price as all of my ingredients!
I got them from my local dollar store!
I wanted to try your Italian meringue buttercream recipe that you did in one of your livestreams. How would you store it/how long does it last? And do you let it come to room temp and rewhip if you refrigerate? 💕
I store it in the refrigerator if I'm not using it within 24 hours and it will last a week or so. You can also freeze it too if you're not going to be using it. I let it come to room temp and re-whip, but honestly more often than not, if I need it in a hurry then I just put it over a pot of simmering water and then rewhip it after it gets a bit soupy on the edges.
@@SweetDreamsBakeShoppe Okay thank you and God Bless 💕🙏🏾
