General rule, if something is over-advertised on CZcams, it's probably a trash product.

For the price of Raycons, I can pick up 3 Moondrop Space Travel with tax and give two away to either friends or family. I can show them what good audio only $25 can get you. (That's what I did for last year's Christmas.)

If I were to walk into a best buy and buy tws iems, they would either be way more expensive than raycon, sound worse, or both. They positioned themselves pretty uniquely in the consumer market and bringing up the alternatives from brands people may not have heard of because there are amazing deals out there now

its good to know the how and why these earphones might not be good even though seeing from face forward that its a "meme" earphone wihtout knowing the actual details on why they might be as good quality.
still a damn shame to see youtubers getting sponsored, and im sure they know too that those earphones are not what they are told to say about them.

I'm surprised they are actually getting updated. If they aren't updating their tuning even after their hardware updates, I guess there are enough people buying who enjoy the tuning lol.

You’d be surprised how many people are oblivious to that glaring bass boost. I surveyed about 10 people that I know about what they’re using and a lot of them are using Sony wireless headphones which are notorious for their bloated bass, especially the xba extra bass line and they don’t even realized until I told them about the bass. Or soundcore stuff, their house sound is basically ray cons with a cleaner bass boost for tws and honky mids for headphones, and none of them realized even if they have something better to compare to.

Honestly, if you have never heard better it's easy to be fooled by them. RayCons are prob one of the worst offenders in terms of bloated bass, but a lot of mainstream earbuds and headphones do the same. People only realize this when they hear more balanced or even neutral earbuds or headphones and then suddenly their eyes open to how bad this bloated bass is.
