- One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson says Immigration Minister Andrew Giles “has to go” regarding his handling of foreign detainees.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced the government will revise Direction 99 to ensure the protection of the community outweighs other considerations.
“He has to go, everyone keeps calling for it, but Albanese is protecting him,” Ms Hanson told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“Politics is about … [having] people there who know how to solve a problem.
“If you don’t want to get rid of someone, that means you’re on the same page.
“Albanese is the most pathetic, gutless prime minister I have ever known.”
In Logan a house that was used for emergency housing for at least a decade is no longer available for Australians in need as it is now being used to house refugees. Less than a kilometre away there are Australian families in tents in the bush.

Albosleasy has run this country into the ground. Australia is no longer the lucky country. Every day aussies can't find affordable housing. There are usually 200+ applicants for 1 property in the rental market. It is no longer a safe place to live, the justice system is broken. Youth crime is out of control yet these young offenders are continually given bail & go out to do the same thing over & over. Protests are now violent, yet these protesters are given free reign to do as they wish. They can take over & occupy private property with no consequences. They can disrupt traffic, incite hatred & break the law with no consequences. Labor has failed this country miserably on so many levels. Bring on the election !
