Welcome to another winter night walk.
I was frustrated to find out that the camera was a little out of focus, but i hope you still enjoy it.
I hope you're not tired of winter and snow, because the weather forecast in Helsinki predicted light snowfall so i decided to walk through the center.
It's quiet on the street again because it's Sunday evening and a new working week is just around the corner.
This walking tour takes us along Helsinki's main street, Mannerheim Street, past several notable landmarks and places of interest.

Lovely night walk around the city, with the lightest of snowfalls... what a wistful feeling. The scene with the trains passing at the crosswalk is my favorite. Bonus: 5:56 feels like a scene from a cyberpunk film. Even a close encounter with the snow removal team :o I could write an essay of all the neat stuff in this walk, you really managed to pack in the sights.
P.S. Of course I'm loving a look into the stores as well, such an interesting way to compare/contrast what people are buying half a world away
Yes! i managed to find another roof cleaning round this winter, the guy at the bottom has to whistle every time someone wants to pass :P
Apart from a bit out of focus, there were indeed some sights to see.
I'm glad you noticed the store windows, i've become aware that i need to take my time with it, more to come.

Thank you! So very relaxing and calming. This is just what I needed tonight. Got into a discussion of music/bands with co-workers and mentioned my favorite is Poets of The Fall from Helsinki. Well, apparently, I'm mentally challenged (paraphrased because I DO NOT like the word she did use) because "Finland does not exist". Silly me. Here I thought the 'Finland doesn't exist' memes were just that, dumb memes. Now I wonder where we visited, if it wasn't Finland, when I was 10, 🤔. Meh, her loss. I don't need friends like that.
