Surprisingly I think I learned more NEW THINGS from this video from a technical perspective then I have from the other videos in the series with more highly respected singers. I really really like that, and Shawn is a fantastic singer in his own right.

Now I'm just adding grit and rasp to the awesome foundation i now have thanks to Justin's teaching. Really wanna dive deeper into that. Justin mentioned growls in the Master course. I was hoping for more of the healthy "rock" voice that SO many vocal teachers avoid teaching, particularly vocals from the 70s, 80s era of rock/metal (no growls, mostly clean with grit/rasp. You can hear words lol)
