I'm glad that the Lambo bros were part of the S1 boys that didn't end up looking like their toy designs. The animation model is so much cooler than the toy. They remain some of my favorites.

Probably my favorite of the 1984 first wave of Transformers, who I didn't own. I especially loved the look of him on the show. My friend had him though. Nice review!
Sideswipe did have piledriver arms. He uses them in two epsiodes of the original Transformers cartoon, one “Fire on the Mountain”. He uses his arms to free Skyfire after being trapped in ice for a long period. The other epsiode; “A Plague of Insecticons” where he digs a tunnel as a detour from an event.
Yes, I know that. I was referring to the Sideswipe toy. And what wasn't included with the Sideswipe figure. No Piledrivers.
Did anyone notice that his shoulders/vehicle back has red stickers on them? It appears to be another remnant of his figure mold originally being meant for Sideswipe.
Yes well spotted the first color of Sunstreaker was red and when they made a color change they didn't realize or just didn't care about changing the red stickers to match. Same thing with Slag being originally blue and they changed the face and chest to red they left the stickers blue.
Loving your videos. Just got a complete vintage 1984 Sunstreaker for my collection today. I never had him as a kid. He is definitely unique!

Can't wait for Sideswipe - he was my very first Transformer. My brother got Sunstreaker. We found out on the way back home that the figures were brothers when we were reading the tech spec. It was awesome!
still on lockdown here so it's nice to wake up to a new review to start my day. I always loved Sunstreaker as a kid but I never owned him. In the end I settled on a KO because, as you say there was no official re-issue.
Hopefully they find a way to give us a official release. And why haven't the knock off companies made the Red version or the Police version of Sunstreaker?

In real life he would be kinda an a--hole. Lol.
His character had no room for growth on the show because he was just so self centered.
Him & Tracks are both very annoying because they are so vain.

When the Tech Specs are done.
The numbers are just rounded off to the nearest number & weren't done in halves or percentages.
I have the action cards of the tech specs & a copy of some of the actual hand written tech specs by Bob Budiansky.
I was looking at a review from this 1 dude who was doing a Megatron, review.
He said that that his intelligence was a 9.9.
No! It's just a 10! 😆😆😆

I love Sunsteaker! When I heard they were using the worst mold in Earthrise (Wheeljack), I immediately bought Tigertracks, he can be my Sunstreaker, just hope I can find a good spoiler, and those things on his back! It's got the ports!

I had Sunstreaker when I was a kid.
Sunstreaker and Sideswipe had their bios switched. Also, Hasbro originally was going to release Sunstreaker in red and he would have been Sideswipe. Sideswipe would have been yellow and thus be Sunstreaker. I'm still waiting on Hasbro or Takara to release a Blue Bluestreak. I refuse to give up on a dream.
I've been waiting for Blue Bluestreak since 1984 when I saw it in the catalog! I almost pulled the trigger on the Diaclone version but the play wear and paint chipping was too extensive for the price they were asking . Some Day!

I got it from bigbadtoystore.com years ago. I recently did a review on it please check it out. The official name is CCC Computer Control Center by I-Gear.
But the website didn’t say they will sell vintage G1 sunstreaker at Walmart.
Hasbro and Takara claims that the mold for Sunstreaker no longer exists so we probably won't see a reissue anything soon.

Another good review! I don't know if you are also into TMNT, GI Joe, Thundercats, Ghostbusters, Voltron, Power Rangers, MASK, etc. But I'd like to see some reviews of those action figure lines too if you get time and/or get or have those figures.

I used to have a sealed Sunstreaker and sold it. I regret it.
But all joking aside yeah man there's nothing like holding the vintage transformers and even messing with them they were actually really great toys for their time

@@80sTransfromersFan In 84 Ravage and Rumble came packed together. Those two were my first Transformers toys. Then Bumblebee and later Sun Streaker. I got Megatron for Christmas of that year.
I wish Sunstreaker got more shine on the Gen 1 cartoon and I wish the figure was done better.

They need to make a godzilla transformers crossover they both did originate in Japan so it does make sense
