Essendon last played Freo in mcg 1999. Soo many things to name in fixture. Like Adelaide playing swans twice since 2005. Richmond playing gold coast 1st time ever. I could go on!
I wish they fucked off the opening round and just played the first matches in round 1 in NSW and QLD and made them big matchups

Thanks Cardy. That would be good to do another fixture video. I am thinking about teams should play different teams always but match ups like cross town rivals, Carlton Vs Collingwood will always get each other twice. Also teams should not miss out in a big state or big venue no more than 3 years. Soo many examples in the past but much better this fixture.
I don't really like the idea of having a round 0. Why not just start the season with round 1

Collingwoods has been graded as the 4th hardest. Almost all of their double up games are against top 8 sides so you’re making things up
