2008: NM v SYD: Sydney should've had points taken off.
1991: ADE v FIT: Fitzroy got robbed.
2019: ESS v COL: Essendon got robbed, numerous times.

Umps missed numerous calls for collingwood but no one cared to bring it up since we won. I am obviously very biased though

In the last minute of the game it is in Collingwood possession inside there forward fifty when tackle was laid on a Collingwood player and he clearly incorrectly disposed of the ball and no free kick was payed. Meaning had it been payed we would have had enough time to go from there inside fifty to ours and possibly scored a goal to win. But if that is not enough 5 seconds later Collingwood we’re awarded a stupid push in the back free that shouldn’t have been and Collingwood milked the clock somehow missed the goal but the siren then went

You’d be 100% right if he’d managed to hold onto the ball, but he didn’t, he dropped it. That’s incorrect disposal, a clear free kick.
@@banfield74 That happens every game where someone picks it up, gets tackled straight away, and then drops it or the ball spills out and it's not a free. No prior to dispose of it and if you've only just taken possession of it there's not much you can do that's why you never seen those payed. Probably happens 20-30 times a game

You missed the head high tackle on Dawson which would have resulted in a Crows kick for goal after the siren against Collingwood to try and win the game. The AFL came out and said it should have been paid a free kick

Lachie Neale not being a dual Brownlow medalist, when he came 2nd to Patrick Cripps in 2022. Cripps shouldn't have been playing the last game due to unceremoniously concussing the Lions' Ah Chee the week before. He initially received 2 weeks suspension (which was lenient).... Carlton lawyers step in, the verdict reversed and the rest is history.

As a Richmond supporter I will clearly remember when we versed Sydney, we were awarded a free kick but Chad Warner still decided to kick the ball away after the siren. If we were awarded the free, Prestia would’ve been within 40 metres of the goal, and easy shot to win the game.

No such thing as robbed based on score related umpiring errors just because the mistake occurs close to the siren. Any mistake during the whole game can have the exact same impact.
if you can make a part 2, please put Essendon v Geelong 2024 because essendon got absolutely robbed in that match when a geelong player pushed an essendon player in the back then geelong got a free kick imstead of essendon.

As an Essendon supporter yes those calls on ANZAC day were shocking but we also had plenty of chances to go forward when we did have the ball and kept turning it over.
I remember 6 or 7 year ago when saints played hawks in tassie and there was 2 kicks not given marks even tho both travelled over 15 m and hawks got a free kick for holding the ball and kicked the winner

1997 Finals Series had two incidents.
Semi Final: (Week 2) Leigh Colbert mark for Geelong against Adelaide was called no mark when the Cats had momentum and 3 Goals in front.
Prelim Final: (Week 3) Tony Liberatore kicked what would have been a match winning goal for the Bulldogs against Adelaide but since the ball went high above the Goal Post, the Goal Umpire called it a behind.
Adelaide Crows won both finals and went on to win the Grand Final in 1997, a Premiership they were lucky to get.

And I've also heard that there was some bad umpiring that went pro-Geelong in the semi? It's just this 1 (which the umpire called incorrectly) is ALWAYS used as 1 call.

@@riggy1990 Back in the 1997 finals series, the Final 8 system between 1994 to 1999 had the winners of Week 1 host their next finals in the Semi and Prelim finals.
Those who lost in Week 1, regardless of where they finished, didn't get to host a home final in Week 2.
They called it the Home Final Advantage due to interstate teams making the finals around that time in the AFL push for making the league Australia Wide therefore Finals representation outside of Victoria.
Also the Crows finished 4th in 1997, not 5th but I can understand the confusion as it was 1998 they finished 5th and still won the Premiership despite being thrashed by Melbourne in Week 1 during that year.

Crows were robbed in 2012 prelim final against Hawthorn. Scott Thompson marked the ball. Ump called play on. He held ball up to say he wanted to take the kick, got tackled. They got a free and beat us by 5 points. Bloody umpires.

I agree with all of those except the Grant one, a clear suspension. But how can you miss 3 obvious ones. Richmond robbed in the 2022 Elimination Final when Tom Lynch clearly kicked a goal which sealed the win for Richmond but they robbed him. The 2002 Grand Final where Anthony Rocca clearly kicked a goal to put Collingwood in front but they robbed him and gave it a point. Sydney robbed in the 2016 Grand Final when an insane amount of false free kicks were given to the Bulldogs and an insane amount of obvious free kicks that should have went to Sydney never were given. That game was clearly obviously rigged to hand Bulldogs the premiership. The goal review system is the main weapon the AFL use to rig matches.
