    Another tip to get louder and used to breathing from the diaphragm. lay on your back on the ground or in your bed and you'll see you breath with your diaphragm, not your rib cage. then practice singing aloud, and you can master that then master standing up and doing it.

    Just kinda realized how inspired I felt to sing recently, and now that I hear this I get the feeling I'm going to have a _lot_ more trouble than I thought. With the fact that I have an already small mouth, plus the appliance(which is something to help your mouth grow in size. So no, I do not have a refrigerator or microwave in my mouth), my tongue will most likely have more difficulty staying where it needs to. Gonna try, though!

    I've always sang folky and choral music so my voice has developed to be quite quiet and not very powerful but in a year or two I would really love to audition to study musical theatre because I absolutely adore drama and dance . The notes in singing aren't really a problem for me but I need to develop a lot more power and a nicer tone when singing musical theatre songs I've given myself a fairly long time to try to improve I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on how I could achieve this without getting singing lessons ?

      No the muscles in those don't end, they wrap around the end in a loop and fingers and toes and not moves with muscles in the fingers/toes there up in your wrist/arm, same with things like a males penis, it does not end, it wraps around

      +Braxton Dennis what did you just say?

    • @yourmother1850
      @yourmother1850 Před 8 lety

      +JustMegawatt Yeah, we are. Your fingers use ligaments that are pulled on by muscles connected near or at the wrist, if I remember correctly... Hold your hand out, palm up, and relaxed. Now, squeeze your other hands thumb into your lower forearm (near your wrist, but not on it), you should see your fingers move with out using any force from the relaxed hand. This would not work if the fingers were moved by muscles in your fingers... same thing with your feet, cant really test it, but you have google at your fingertips, figure it out. Hell if you're somewhat skinny, you can always try to extend your toes as far as they'll go under their own force, and you'll clearly see the ligaments under the skin.

    • @HumanBean520
      @HumanBean520 Před 8 lety

      michael orourke
      Ligaments connect bone to bone. Tendons connect muscles to bone. Muscles are what move your your body. In the arms there are many different muscles that flex and extend your fingers. Most of the muscles that move your fingers start around the elbow, not the wrist, and connect at the end of your fingers. And that's your anatomy lesson of the day.

    Not technically correct. The walls of the pharynx, which effect vocal pitch, tone, etc., are made up of both muscles and fibrous tissue, all of which is part of the vocal tract, the complex system that dictates how one sings. For example, the palatopharyngeus muscles are attached to the uvula and to the pharyngeal wall. And the palatoglossus muscles are attached to the uvula and to the tongue. All of these things work together to give you the sound that you are looking for when you sing.
