sonic the hedgehog flavored hoodwinked, I've got a lot of fond memories of this, and a lot to type once I wake up, but for now, commenting and liking for engagement!

@@alwaysabiggafish3305 so, Hoodwinked is a movie, it's a certified hood classic that tells the same story through the lens of multiple characters, which quite a few other games and movies do too, it's got the same structure as the movie Rashomon, which is from the 1950's, anyways
my main point was that like in those two movies, you get to experience the same events through the eyes of other characters, which you more than likely already knew, but just like in those movies, you get to see new angles to the situations the characters are going through.
It's a structure I like a lot, and a pretty neat thing, but it can get repetitive if done incorrectly.
@@alwaysabiggafish3305 The original hood classic goes through the events of Little Red Riding Hood, who is dubbed 'Red' not knowing her Grandma is basically a pro athlete or something, proceeding along her path to go visit and make sure she's doing okay, only to meet up with the Big Bad Wolf, who just comes off as some sketchy dude- who from her point of view gets ready to attack before she books it.
In his version of events, you find out he's investigating an entire situation and that she's a suspect, and you get to see what made him act like he was going to attack was actually him getting vibe-checked by his tail being reeled into a camera or something, which isn't something Red herself knows about.
There are scene comparisons on youtube it might be worth taking a look at if you don't want to watch the movie itself, since that thing is old, but still younger than Sonic Adventure itself, but it's also admittedly kinda uh, ugly looking. If you like 'bad' movies, give it a watch, if you wanna laugh or cringe with some friends, also give it a watch, if you want to avoid torturing yourself if that type of thing, isn't your thing, just watch a scene comparison since I'm pretty sure it's only around 5-6 minutes long that way.

Imo the emerald hunt stages in the adventure duology is super lame and boring. Id love to see knuckles stages have the same layout or design philosophy as Chaotix. Something very vertical and takes the most advantage of knuckles' moveset instead of something gimmicky and tedious like shard/key hunting
The thing is, I think all of the stages are fine, but with how short knuckles story is, it's all you have. I don't think they stand well on there own and if they were to remake knuckles story in the future, I would want them to work on giving him more platforming stages. I think it's interesting to try and implement the chaotix level structure though!

Oh, yeah there is a light conversion mod, but I believe it and a water effect mod had become incompatible with the newest version of the mod loader
I got all the conversions fixed for the next part of this series and just... I didn't know what I was missing
