K-329 Belgorod, has put to sea for the first time leaving Severodvinsk in late June for the start of sea trials, not operational deployment. Armed with six ‘2м39′ Poseidon torpedoes which are over 20 meters (65 feet) long, they are in effect giant underwater drones with practically unlimited range and a nuclear warhead with an expected performance (around 70 knots and 1,000 meters depth). What they are going to target remains to be seen. Ukraine doesn't have a Navy. 🤨

Nice thing about black sea fleet is satellites can see where all naval ships and subs dock in sevastopol. They have to come in for food, fuel, change staff, get ammo, etc etc. As soon as USA gives Ukraine the longer range HIMARS (up to 300 km), Ukraine will be able to pick off all ships and subs in Sevastopol at will from Odessa and the entire southern coast of Ukraine, then Putin will have to abandon Crimea the same way he abandoned Snake Island....it will be for "goodwill" LOL K-329 Belgorod can join Moskva on the bottom.

Underestimating Russia is what got us in this mess. 25% of Ukraine, it's most heavily fortified areas, are already gone. Most the best Ukrainian military units are shredded, which is why Zelensky keeps begging for more and more weapons and why he has ordered a full scale draft. Ethnic Russians do not want to be governed by ethnic Ukrainians. I don't think it's worth WWIII.
