Every summer I spend about one month picking, making jam, and freezing peaches. Despite limited freezer space we give frozen peaches priority because we like our peaches as fresh as possible for pies, cobblers, and our favorite raw milk peach milk shakes. Over the years and many hours processing peaches, I have found these two methods for freezing peaches the most delicious and time efficient.
Let me tell you a little secret "YOU DON'T HAVE TO PEEL THE PEACHES"!
REMEMBER KEEP LIFE SIMPLE!
I hope this video will help you when processing your own bounty of peaches!
Be Blessed,
Caren

I love your methods!!! The whole peach is frozen...no blanching! This is time-saving and nutritious! Yours is the method I will use! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!♥♥
Thank you
simple & to the point
Thank you for letting me know I don’t have to put sugar on them. I’m diabetic and I love peaches. I buy them when they are in season and so happy to know I can freeze them.
You are welcome Melanie! Thank you for watching! Yes, we don't use much sugar either and feel like the peaches are sweet enough on their own.
Thank you🌿
Thank you!
Thank you!! I was watching other methods and I was like “well I just usually wash em, cut em, and freeze em. I didn’t realize I was missing so many steps” 😂 So thank you for validating me!!
Yes, this is a great method for very busy people and has always worked great for us. Thank you for watching!
Thank you soo much. I will use both methods. I have some huge S.C. peaches.
So helpful! Thank you! 😊 🍑
Great! Thank you for watching!
Your an i inspiration
Thank you for watching!
Thank you for this video! My peach tree is overflowing this year and I hate to waste anything. I just picked 3 peaches off my tree and ate them so fast (they are small peaches)
Thank you sooo much. Super fast and easy! Most methods require removing the skin
Leaving the skin on enhances the flavor and is easy. Thank you for watching!
I'm going to Susquehanna Orchards and get myself a basket to freeze, Thanks for the info. God Bless
Sounds great! Thank you for watching Paul.
Thanks and nicely done video. We live just south of Waco. The blizzard of ‘21 just about killed all our bushes and we were afraid our two peach trees and red plum tree were done for. They survived but one tree gave no peaches and the other about 2 gallons. The plum gave us 10 plums...two years ago it must have produced 600.
Thank you for watching Alan. Sorry your plum and peach harvest was impacted by the freeze. Our peach trees are loaded with peaches but will ripen later than usual. (Still green). Usually we have peaches by July 4th, I suppose the cooler spring temperature delayed the process. Right now we have plums and last month our blackberry harvest was really good. We have a ranch in the Lampasas area and have thought about starting an orchard there because the dirt is beautiful but maybe the winter is a bit harsher there.
My husband just brought home two baskets of fresh peaches. Guess what I’ll be going tonight! 😀 Thank you for this video!!
Peach season is underway here at the farmstead. Every evening we are processing peaches so we can enjoy them the whole year. Thank you for watching!
Perfect. I want the skin on too.
It is amazing how much flavor leaving the skin on adds. Thank you for watching!
I'd love to know how you grow your peaches organically. I always have fungus problems just as mine ripen.
Hello Vicki, we approach gardening from our soil's health. However we do live in a semi-arid environment so this helps immensely. Thank you for watching.
wow thank you. I love the skins too and don't like peeling the peaches.
Thank you for watching Tala! Not peeling makes things so simple and more delicious.
@@texasfarmsteadliving-caren9517 Thank you for this video! I have a question though. Does it change the texture of your pie or cobbler if you leave on the skin?
do you leave the peels on these frozen peaches when you make cobbler or, whatever? AND how are the frozen peach slices do in thawing out when you want to just eat them?
Yes, I leave the peels on the peaches when making pies and cobblers. They add more flavor. I freeze peach slices in canning jars and my family eats them slightly frozen just like sorbet. Thank you for watching!
Coz i wana freeze them for 1 year
Do you have to use lemon juice if you use a food saver vacuum sealer?
I probably would not but if you do it won't hurt anything. It will keep the color brighter and prevent browning. Thank you for watching!
@@texasfarmsteadliving-caren9517 thanks for the reply. Keep the videos coming and happy harvesting 👍
Can i just pick then and put in a freezer bag. Then im done. Less work.
Yes you can. When they defrost or if you run water over them the skin will slip right off. Thank you for watching!
Blendtek?
Do you have to put lemon juice in order for them not to turn brown.
Hello Sheryl, no I do not put lemon juice on the peaches however I freeze them quickly. Thank you for watching!
How long we can freeze them in freezer
Thank you for watching! I can freeze peaches several years as long as they are in freezer ziploc bags.
Wish I had watch this before my peaches got over ripe!
Sorry you lost some of your peaches. This method is so easy! Thank you for watching!
Where can I get raw milk?
Janet this web site should help you locate raw milk in your area. Back when we had a raw milk dairy we were listed there. www.realmilk.com/
Glad I just peeled 40lb
Wow, you have been busy. Hope this shortcut helps you.
