The book of prophecies had Ventus mentioned as the one to be taken over by a darkness, and ventus is is directly connected to sora. Could be that sora was just that lucky to be chosen, or it was already decided
Here is a theory. Luxu probably took Brain's body and somehow sent Brain's heart to the future. The reason Brain still exists with a body in the future so he can meet Sigurd is bc his hat was a medium and the memories of Sigurd and his comrades allowed his heart to reform a new body in the future with his memory intact.

Union x hits different when you know xhoranort is the player it makes you think who Sora is a reincarnation of? I’ve never seen story telling on this level normera with his big brain yes papa nomera plus the scene when darkness is walking up to ven at the end is the most creepiest thing I seen in kh. Welp time for prodigy to work on these explanations videos and theories. I pretty much understood all what happened my only question is what about strulexia she the most mysterious character to me right now. @The Phantom647 Not really, Ventus said he was his second chance in BBS secret ending too because Sora helped him reconstruct his heart again when Sora was still a little boy and that's how the darkness Vanitas took the form of Sora, hence when he saw Sora and saw Vanitas, he understood what happened, he knew Sora was that little boy that helped him.

What’s ironic is the player and ventus shared the same fate in the notion of becoming a part of a new heart, but only ventus could come back as himself where as the player as xehanort became corrupted by the four darknesses that are in the scenes with the chi trio, these four would be divided into terranort , xehanort, ansem and xemnas. Vanitas was the first darkness who possessed ventus but was cast out at the end of bbs, but the con is I think after he was cast out this allowed xehanort to pluck him out into the current time period meaning, Vanitas after kh3 is now formless again. Young xehanort is the outliar as he isn’t fully corrupted in the time period he came from so when he was brought forward he became as corrupted as his older self due to another unexplained rule in how time travel works. Depending how long this new phase is we might be fighting one union leader per game so we purge a darkness one at the time with no doubtfully some losses of main characters Riku being a high possibility of being the first loss
Also to add to my comment the player/xehanort may have been subconsciously trying to find his lost friends similar to how xemnas was trying to find ventus and aqua through terras memories

Coming back after Dark Road, Ephemer is also the great great grandfather of Xehanort (by extension that also means Skuld is Xehanort’s great great grandmother as Nomura confirmed Xehanort’s mom is related to Skuld, plus the 2 were also really close) which makes means he canonically fucked, making him an even bigger giga chad
And now that one scene in KH3 has been recontextualized as “Sora could you be a homie and help kicking my great great grandson’s ass? Ok thanks bye”

Hm, but if you destroy Xigbar he'll get reconstructed as a somebody, and he already was struck down by Sora but is still alive. The question is, when he was defeated was the only thing that got leaked out of him the Xehanort portion of Darkness or also the Darkness that was sealed within him? Maybe the seal is somewhat strong and hard to notice (even by Xehanort).
@@emperorpersuit I don't think that they're possessed by Darknesses yet, possibly in the next game. So the only darkness that Xigbar had would've been Xehanort's darkness.

@@linnilotus Oh, yeah I just remembered that scene where Luxu begins to fight one of the darknesses so that's probably when he sealed it inside of his heart because in the next scene that he's present in which we know is in the future, Luxu is by himself before approaching Brain and that would explain why the darkness suddenly disappeared.

Luxu is considered a traitor because he went against his role. Unwilling to stand back and observe from afar, Luxu went on to hijack the bodies of all the wielders of No Name throughout history rather than overseeing a natural chain of successors as he was ordered so he could retain a more prominent role in the story taking place.

@@bobert221 I dont think it well ever be Strelitza. A small minor thing I make with Subject X is the trio. Lea is the sun, Isa is the moon, and Skuld is the stars. (outfit and earrings) plus the characters files on Lea say that Subject X has black hair.
Plus with Subject X being Skuld she has so many relations with almost the whole organization 13. She pretty much knows everyone cause she was at RG and a lot of the members are from there.
Strelitza being X doesnt add up, there are little to no evidence being so. I think the only reason they made Xehanort's mom like that is just to mess with people. I wouldn't be surprised because it is Nomura after all.
Luxu took Brains body, which jettisoned his heart allowing it to travel through time like the young Xehnort. Ephemer using the book realized this would happen found Brains hat to use as a medium like Maleficent's cape. And left the story of Brain comming to the leaders of Scala so they would have memories of him. Thus both requirments for time travel were met. Physical medium (Brains Hat) and memories (Ephemer telling his student's that one day Brain would come).
The real Xehanort was the friends we made along the way... literally...

So the Master of Masters is pride for a reason. His vendetta against darkness is personal, and he's willing to sacrifice anything for the pride he has in the purity of heart.
He also seems to pride light over darkness due to it not having a heart. I think Sora is going to end up fighting for both after everything that's happened with like Riku, Roxas, Axel, Namine, Xehanort, Vanitas etc. I think he's started to learn that not everything is black and white and sometimes people just need a chance to change or to be slapped to their senses. I could also see them doing the whole darkness is jealous of the light which is why it tries to spread and consume hearts, thus Sora maybe opens his heart hotel for darkness to reside within lol. I doubt it'll go like that though, Nomura is a madman after all lol
Heh. I think the MoM is right. You don't win a war without sacrifices, especially not one against the embodiment darkness itself.
@@saintgeekSG Yeah, the problem I think many would have with this however is that they aren't "willing" sacrifices. They aren't even aware of the Master's plans or their own involvement. Darkness toys with people's hearts and manipulates them to its own end, at this point the Master of Masters isn't so different. I think that's why he stated it wasn't about being the hero, instead he's playing the part of the villain, somewhat similarly to Lelouche. Luxu I feel on the other hand may end up being more like a Light Yagami. Who knows. I'm very excited to find out.

For whatever mess the whole Chi saga was with a bunch of fillers and always waiting for the smallest updates... the story of the game was so good

I do not think that was entirely accurate. There is going to be a traitor, the MoM called Luxu a traitor, like he knew he was going to do smth to betray them.
The thought of even seeing a mother from one of the main characters series is already huge; we know Sora and Riku have parents, Kairi is adopted by the mayor of the mainland of Destiny Islands, and obviously Twilight Town’s detective trio must have parents or something. And yet we don’t ever see those figures. We’ve only seen on screen Kairi’s grandma and Eraqus, father figure to the Wayfinder Trio.
But the woman here possibly being Xehanort’s mother and is on screen?? Yeah, no, this of huge!

Actually, Xigbar (A.K.A. Luxu) found Lauriam, he says as much in KH2, and Elrena admitted in KH3 she joined herself to watch over Lauriam, it actually had nothing to do with Xehanort being the reincarnation of the Player.
It's etched into his heart. He may only have visions, but he does still have connections with his friends. His friend Eraqus (possible descendant of Brain) and Subject X (possibly Skuld). ^^

Wait, so now we know how Xehanort knew about ven and his part of the keyblade war. Xehanort had memories of people he didnt know, union Leaders and his previous life. Being the reincarnation of the player character, Xehanort knew things, more than other keybladers, also, if Brain did give Ephemer the book of prophecies, then souldnt they still be in Scala, so could that mean that Mickey will find the book and Maleficient will find out about it. If MICKEY were to bring that book back to everyone, wouldnt Ven's memory start to flood back and remember everything. THIS IS INSANE.

You have to give Square points. They're like, "Here's this game with Xehanort and not X's main character. We know that it's not your OC from the original but we hope you'll enjoy it anyways". Then it turns out that the MC of Dark Road is your OC. The levels of meta foreshadowing are off the charts.
What a wild ride it was and I find it really interesting that the player and willful darkness were sent and trapped in a plug from Game Central Station, I think this is one of the couple times in the series that Disney Worlds directly interacted with the plot.

I thought that Xehanort and the Player are the same Person because Xehanort and Xemnas hinted that they fought in the Keyblade War.
In Birth by Sleep in the Keyblade Graveyard he said, that he swore to survive the Keyblade War and live beyond it or something like that.
A friend of mine said that it would be funny if the guy with No Name ended up as the guy with the keyblade No Name.
Give the Player an Oscar for being able to fool Darkness.
After watching everything, the only question I have is, what happened to Skuld. I'm aware of what happened to everyone else.
1- Ephemur survived the destruction of Daybreak Town and stayed in the past. (His lifeboat never traveled through time)
2- Luxu separated Brain's heart from his body, sent it to the future, & possessed the body left behind.
3- Ventus, Elrena and Luriam all arrived safely in the future (probably with memory loss)
4- The "player" reincarnated as Xehanort.
But the 1 unanswered question for me is Skuld's whereabouts.

Skuld end up in Radiant Garden (BBS Timeline with Ventus).

@@racsoyt9862 That's one of the reasons I could go either way for subject x being Skuld or Strelitzia. Strelitizia was in that whole dazed state with Luxu and would make sense why her memory was gone. However we didn't see Skuld in theboost credits which might be to save the experiment reveal for later.
Hey HMK, Sigurd is actually related to Norse mythology, very close ties to Odin (based on what I've learned playing assassin's Creed).
Fenrir (the big wolf thing that's destined to kill Odin and bring Ragnarok) bites Sigurds arm off.
It's highly possible that Brain landed in the time when Odin himself was still young, which would explain why Sigurd doesn't seem to look old and how Eraqus came to exist by the time Odin is old.

TLDR; Luxu took Brain's body, and sent his heart into the future, Ephemer ensured people in the future of Scala would remember him, and Luxu made sure that Brain's hat was available to use a a medium to rebuild his body.

That Darkness is most likely what spawned Vanitas, but since Ven had fused with it, it was basically a part of him and that's why Xehanort separating them did so much damage to Ven's heart. But now that Sora has destroyed Vanitas, that should be one less true Darkness in play.
Vanitas also says he was there long before Xehanort separated them and existed long before everyone.

I think the main idea is that if you die, your heart returns to kingdom hearts. But when a new person is born, a heart is taken from Kingdom hearts. So the Player’s heart is the only thing that transferred (Not the mind, and definitely not the body).

Hear me out about the Brain/Luxu situation. One of the pods was used by a body which looked an awfull lot like a vessel as we have seen in KH3. Remember Brain and Luxu talking about the rules of travelling, you need a vessel/host for your heart and someone to remember you present in the time where you're going to.
So my theory is that Luxu took Brain's body, sent Brain's heart to scala, where also the vessel went. Because Ephemer informed Isgurd about Brain, there was someone to remember him. So Luxu has Brain's real body, while Brain took the vessel in Scala.
When terra was released from Xehernort's control he looked the same as when he was first possessed. Maybe something similar happened with Brain and Luxu got a new vessel and didn't need Brain anymore.
That's just my theory though.
But him being scala ad caelum could mean that Luxu is watching the events of this world for when Xehernort eventually turns to darkness and the events of the series starts.

If I remember correctly, In dark road I believe we heard what happened to eriques father, he faced the darkness and failed to defeat it.
We know about darkness having to be defeated in a physical form. This being Luxu. Braine fought luxu and failed and had his body snatched.
Which could explain why eriques had deep hatred towards the darkness.

Also, as Ephemer was able to show up in Sora's thoughts and memories, maybe Ephemer reincarnated into Sora. Additionally, as Xehanort went back to Kingdom Hearts again, maybe the player will reincarnate again. This could be a way for all of the new Union leaders to meet again in phase 2, Sora as Ephemer. Subject X as Skuld, Marluxia as Lauriam, Ventus as himself, and Brain and the Player reincarnate. That would be my guess for phase 2.

It was a trick answer because of what we know now or xehanort through the players memories miss interrupted the keyblade war in a sense or Luxu guided him through it to restart it to be able to continue the masters plan after a strong candidate (Sora) was found who would be able to complete the plan

Okay I think I get it now. Luxu stole Brain's body, and Luxu performs a unique forward time travel method that doesn't require an ark / lifeboat by casting Brain's heart into the future, making sure to have someone who remembers Brain as well as Brain's hat will be placed at a certain time period that Luxu picked for Brain's heart to reform in. I guess the fact that an ark / lifeboat wasn't used means Brain gets to keep his memories of the past, unlike Elrena, Lauriam, Ventus, and Skuld, who all lose their memories.

I don't think that was a threat from Luxu. I think that Brain thought he was going to die in daybreak town. But the key words "to think you'll die here" can be interpreted as there being another option, in which Luxu does the switcheroo with Brain's body

That was amazing and mind blowing!!! That would explain why Skuld was in Radiant Garden, she was in the pod and when she got out by Ansem the wise. She didn't remember what happened to her because she got bonked pretty hard with those boulders and got amnesia. That would explain the KH3 secret reports about her
The story in this game is crazy, I hope one day they will remake this game in 3D to make the cutscenes appealing to watch.
