“It makes me look like a toaster” 😂😂😂 I feel this so much hahaha
I noticed a few derogatory comments and I am so impressed that you did not acknowledge or reply to them...they do not deserve your time. You have a beautiful style that I admire. ❤
Black skirt plus white shirt always makes me think of being in the school orchestra. 🎻
Yaaaaaaass me too 😂
Dr. Malka, Love ❤️ your channel! I love to look my best. Awesome tips! BTW you really rock your outfits 👍. Bravo 👏 Thank you 🙏
Hello, the white blouse you modeled at the end of your video is absolutely georgous ❤
Me too
That is why accessories were invented. You have a timeless canvas to play up popping scarves, bags, belts, shoes, or a vest or a statement piece of jewelry.....
I’m slowly losing the weight I gained during Covid (very slowly!) and when I’m heavier I hide my body in shapeless clothes, which I realize only makes me look heavier. This video is a helpful reminder that although it may feel counterintuitive to wear a more shapely silhouette when we’re over our ideal weight, it actually looks more flattering than boxy shapes.
There was a show called “What Not to Wear” that demonstrated this trick and your video reminded me of it.
Thank you 🌷
Aww thank you Juliette for your kind words ❤️❤️
I am so so happy for you to slowly but surely reaching your goals !
That grey knitted skirt & turtle neck combo set is STUNNING!! 🤩
Sara!!!! YAY!!! So excited to see you and fellow Frummies today! I have missed ALL of you.
And a huge, HUGE hug to you, Sara! I do hope you're ok... family, friends... I feel I can speak for us Frummies when I say this... you have created such an amazing online community filled with love and support. We've def missed you, and we are very, VERY thankful for every video - every live premiere, every personal little reply to our comments.
There is a LOT that goes into making these videos that most of us viewers are entirely clueless about. It's a bunch of work that usually goes unrecognized - and, due to menopause yanking the rug out from under me, I'm suddenly way too aware of just how many "thankless tasks" we undertake everyday. I'm trying very hard to keep you in mind as I do things, and the past few days - progress. 😊 Reframing my POV from "i have to..." (grumble) to "I GET to..." (a stirring of excitement) works... as long as I keep working at it. Lol.
And for that alone, but ohhhh so much more my dear Sara, I will forever be thankful that you are a friend.
Awwwwww🥹🥹🥹 Sweet Abigail 🥰🥰🥰
Your words touched my soul so so deeply.
I am so grateful for you and our lovely community.
I say OUR community because we built it with every live, video and comment we left to each other and on videos.
I take every one of the comments like a sweet hello from a friend.
When I say I love you: I really really do and I am so so grateful for you and everyone of our Frum it up family ❤️❤️❤️
Thank YOU for being my ongoing reminder that all the little things done in the background are important and seen
You make me feel seen
Xoxox your Sara Malka ❤️❤️
with everything going on, so glad you're able to make space in your life to create this video. thank you!
You are so welcome! And thank you for being here with me ! Xoxox stay safe and blessed
“A dressed up toaster” and “fancy Shrek” 🤣🤣🤣 Your style is fantastic!! Loved the tips!
I love looking my best. GOD Bless you, Sara. You are such a wonderful blessing to me - and that's saying something since I'll be 71-years old April 26, 2024. ♥
I just started wearing only skirts and dresses (and very loose pants for exercise when absolutely necessary) and I LOVE it!! I’ve started to feel so much more confident about my body from dressing modestly 💜
I love to look my best. I don't know where to start. I have so much to say that maybe I should do it in sections. I am not Jewish, but with all that is going on in the world, I started listening to your videos because your voice was so calming. You went about your day peacefully and wholly, explaining what you did and why. You seemed to be totally involved with your life and I found that very helpful. I read a few things on the news and they upset me, So I decided to listen to one of your videos. It was the How to Not Look Frumpy one. The more I watched the more I liked your outfits and understood how your tips could work for me. I've never felt that I looked stylish or professional . I have some outfits similar to the ones you "fixed" and want to try to many of them. Professional clothes, feminine clothes and cute clothes. You had them all. I had always thought that I should not wear a belt, being larger in that area, now I can't wait to try some. I will watch this video again and others when I just need to listen to you. Thank you.
I literally call long cardigans "The Frumpy Mom Sweater Of Authority", because I wear them a lot when doing mom things - playground, errands, etc. lol. They're frumpy but I love them!
Edit: Awwww year the duster length cardigan or any "third piece".
Haha I love this! I'm 33 but still look about 12, so sometimes when I'm out with my daughter doing doctors apps etc I deliberately put on a frumpy cardigan just to add a bit of authority to my face 🤣
The L-rd bless you and keep you
Make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you The L-rd turn His face toward you And give you peace May His favor be upon you And a thousand generations And your family and your children And their children, and their children May His presence go before you And behind you, and beside you All around you, and within you He is with you, he is with you In the morning, in the evening In your coming, and your going In your weeping, and rejoicing He is for you, He is with you, He is upon you Amen
Thank you for these tips! I love to look my best! 🙂 Because I'm only 5'3", I usually dress in monochrome black. I also do color blocking, using a bright jewel tone amongst the black. I try to create a long line with a tailored, "military" or menswear-cut to my jackets. Beautiful video as always! Thank you Sara for sharing 💖
Thank you for sharing these tips. Dressing modestly does not have to mean not being stylish.
I love to look my best 🥰 I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I am so glad to "see" you. Please, take excellent care of yourself, as you take such excellent care of those around you. 🩵
I'm looking forward to incorporating your wonderful advice into my wardrobe. I *love* color blocking! My personal style is almost exclusively solid colors/fabrics, and it's so fun to play with how color affects visual presentation (especially taking the 1/3-2/3 balance into account). Thank you for another lovely video! 💗
Thank you so so much for your kind words my friend !
We are colour blocking sisters ! I love it !
Xoxoxo
The same color tights and shoes were something I never knew or thought to do. Thank you!
Thank you so much, even if you aren’t religious learning to dress modiest is an important part of style and professionalism
I love to look my best. Although lately it's been tough to even get dressed. We' ve been losing a loved one every couple of months and it's been difficult on my family. My favorite outfit was the last. My favorite tip was the color blocking. Hope your family is safe my friend.
That blouse with the brown under the sleeves is stunning!
I love to look my best! These tips were very helpful. I grew up wearing jeans and t-shirts so dressing more grown up can be difficult.
So true!
I am sure you will ROCK the skirt look!
Xoxox
Have a great week my sweet friend
Good morning frum family ❤❤
Good morning!
I love to look my best! Thank you for all the great tips, Sarah. I have a wardrobe full of trousers of all lengths and styles but over the last few years I intentionally started getting more skirts to feel more feminine. Well, as someone who's used to wearing trousers, styling the skirts has been a real challenge and I've arrived at some of the tips you mentioned simply by trial and error but I still struggle with the odd case of "frumpy". A great video I'll be returning to in the future!
I love to look my best. Hi I enjoyed your video. As a Muslim woman I especially liked # 5.
But I enjoyed all your tips. I find your videos calming and soothing for me.
Also your videos are very informative and fun.
Thanks a lot for your time.
I love your sense of humor! Thanks for the tips - I love to look my best🧥👗👜👢
I Love To Look My Best: thanks so much for simple, classy, modest, & Adonai honoring ways. You are a true friend. Grateful for you sooo much 💜
Loved the video ❤ another tip would be to purchase basic color pencil skirts and then just use sweaters or summer blouses. That's a very good idea instead of buying the pretty dress that can really be used one way, the pencil skirt works year round with the right top. Get the basics first before the rest is what I'm trying to say lol! Love and hugs from Texas 💕
You are the most elegant and fabulous woman for keeping women of all deeply religious women being classy.
I frequently wear skirts, and usually full, knee-length circle/swing skirts. I always, *always* tuck my top, as my skirts actually sit at my natural waist. That, paired with a really floofy petticoat, really accentuates my waist and makes it look smaller. Plus I love the look.
In general I try to create some contrast in my clothes, too. If I'm wearing a black skirt, I'll try to go with another colour of top, or at least something like a bright belt to break up the "ninja" look. But if I'm wearing a bright skirt, I prefer a black (or simple white) top, so it's not too busy.
I love to look my best ❤
Do you also have some tips for the shorter women that wear (modest) women clothing / skirts, to not look like a sandbag? 😅 Lots of love from the Netherlands!
Yessss!
Try to avoid to go for super long unless you wear them with high heels 👠 otherwise it will make you appear shorter 😢
Shorter skirts are always better : you can play with the heels 👠 to give you height and follow the one colour tip for colour of tights and shoes to create long lines
Crop tops are your friends to create the illusion of longer legs!
I hope
It helps!
Toda raba! ❤ Thank you so much, the crop top is new to me, so - very helpful!
I love to look my best! Thank you for inspiring me to shop in my closet to put together outfits instead of just throwing on clothes from my closet!
All of your tips are great. I love to look my best. Another great tip, make sure your clothes fit properly. Too big and they look sloppy, too small doesn’t flatter either. I never go by number size, just what fits properly and flatters my shape. 😊
I love to look my best. The thick belt makes a lot of sense. I love the flowy, Bohemian look.
You are so right!!! The thick belts are little miracles we can wear!! They hide stuff we don’t want to show and elevate a look instantly!
Stay safe and blessed xoxox
I love to look my best
I love to look my best! Been praying for you and your families. G.od bless you
Thank you my sweet friend xoxoxo
We can all use this advice!❤❤❤
I hope you like them ❤️❤️❤️
I love to look my best!
Thank you Sara for another great video. I always look forward to cozying up on Sunday nights to watch your videos.
The one theme I can count on is your elegance, classiness and most importantly, your giving spirit.
So grateful for you!
i like the tip about wearing lighter weight top if the bottom is heavier, makes sense. I have developed arthritis in my left foot so right now shoes are a big challenge for me. I LOVE heels but looks like that will be a thing of the past for me now. bummer. I love to look my best!
I really enjoyed this video but I am a frumpy 80 year old Plus very heavy grandma so I don't really think there is a way to make me look any way other than I am I'm sure the younger more active ladies will enjoy and use your advice😊
I am 83 and while I have few limitations on my clothing style, the rules she stated are for any age. I too am overweight and apple shaped. Lol. Based on my aging arms, I choose 3/4 sleeves. I am short so wear blouses that are not too long since it further shortens me. Proportions are important. I dress every day since I go to a public dining room. Wear makeup, earrings and style my hair. Find it gives me a good attitude and makes me more approachable. 😊
I love to look My best
You're an excellent model :) thanks for the tips!
Truth be told, I liked the pencil skirt outfit the best. It looks so classy on you. I love to look my best, and feel like I’m on an archeological dig just to find a skirt to purchase. Please share your best on-line shopping places for modest, feminine clothes. Be well, and stay safe. ❤
Yayyyyyyyyyy a live
I love to look my best.
Gray outfit, I liked the top ticked in. tucked
I love to look my best ❤ Sara, all your outfits say “feminine. Modest. Confident.” ☺️
I love to look my best! This video was fantastic! Ty so much. If you ever have the time, I’d be so grateful for a summer version. I live in hot weather & some ideas on tops would really help. Ty!!!!
I LOVE TO LOOK MY BEST!!! Sara you look as beautiful as ever!!
Awww thank you 🙈🙈🙈
I love to look my best! Blessings and sunny days.
Thank you so so much Spicy 🌶️ xoxox
I can't imagine you looking frumpy. Ever!!!
Love your sense of humour.💞
I love to look my best. Thank you for all of your tips. 😊
Such a lovely woman!
I love to look my best! Thank you for sharing these helpful tips for wearing skirts. The outfits look so beautiful. I hope everything is fine with you, dear Sara.
These styles are so lovely and elegant, and you make look sweet easy!!! You've inspired me and I thank you for that!
I love to look my best ❤ I like to use my summery dresses in winter by wearing a pullover sweater over the dress. It helps with layering for warmth too! You have a beautiful style, Sarah!!
I also pair mine with boots!
I love to look my best. I love wearing modest clothing. Love the ideas you have put in on your video.
The multi toned dress is very nice. Looks good on you because you are taller than me. As for the wrinkly shirt, just soak the shirt in fabric softener and hang up on a hanger fully wet. Do not remove the water. My friend told me that hack.
Sweet friend, you look simply beautiful! Your hard work is paying off!
I absolutely adore that black top witj the “puffy” sleeves that you are wearing with the long skirt!!
This was a fantastic video Sarah. We are in summer here in Australia so I very much look forward to a summer outfit tips video. In the meantime, I’ll take these tips with me for when winter comes around again. Thanks so much. ❤
I love to look my best.
I love to look my best! It's been great, I love this tips for dressing classy and elegant.
Thank you❤️❤️❤️
My favorite tip is to wear a cardigan the same length as your skirt. I love these videos. I need help with dressing so much.
I always buy cinch-waisted skirts as I'm pretty pear shaped (35-27-41)! Hiding my waist is always a no-no for me even at my age (63). Most fortunately, I'm 68" tall (ty Lord!) and don't have a problem with maxi skirts, which I love wearing to church. Ty for your pointers, which are always a huge blessing!
When you take it out of the dryer, while it is still warm,if there is still wrinkles then put on hanger and spray it with a water bottle lightly, usually does the trick, if not my Mom usually just iron it with steam and heat. Prefer the dryer method if you can use it because it is faster.
I looooove this video 😮 it’s going to help me redesign my look… I always seem to look “frumpy” thank you❤I LOVE TO LOOK MY BEST
Love the Grey ensrmble
Thank you! It is sooooo comfy!
Dressed up toaster 😂 you and me both, Sara. I will DEFINITELY be using these tips!!!
I love to look my best!
But I also love to be comfortable so I live in leggings and oversized Tshirts or sweaters. You look so classy and put together 🫶🏻
Good morning, Sarah! I am so excited to see you on this lovely (cold) Sunday from Southern California!
I am so grateful and happy to be with you too❤️❤️❤️
Sara! I was just thinking of you and praying you and your beautiful family were well. How beautiful to see a new video!
Thank you so much sweet Paula ❤️❤️❤️ stay safe and blessed xoxoxo
“I love to look my best! “ Xx
I LOVE TO LOOK MY BEST - you sure looked really lovely in those outfits, so many ways to wear them all
Thank you so much!
Xoxoox
Oh man! I missed the premiere! I hope everyone had a good time! It's great to see another video posted!
Thanks for all these examples. With longest length I wear either ankle booties, or full length black/brown boots. With the shortest hems I use matching tights and same color or tone non-shiny shoe. I agree with your grey sweater outfit: team-Tucked-In. I use a tube shapewear 'slip' for all my tuck ins. It keeps them from bunching over my already chubby tummy. All your choices are lovely and beautiful on you. Thanks for sharing. God bless you and your channel. GG From Minnesota.
Awww thank you so so much Gayl ❤️ we are skirt sisters ❤️❤️❤️
So many smart and stylish tips! That top with the dark/light contrasting sleeves (with the maxi skirt) is absolutely magic! Thank you for another informative and friendly video, Sara! I love to look my best and I am going to seek out a two-tone-sleeved top!
I love to look my best. This will help.
First, you are a beautiful woman! However, as an orthodox woman, you could just follow the rules for dressing and simply not try! You are definitely an elegant dresser and you have made some very good points. You have given me a lot of ideas even when wearing pants! Thank you, Sara!❤️❤️❤️PS. I love to look my best!
I love to look my best. I have never had a sense of fashion and wear colored shirts and black pants most of the time. Your video helped me realize with planning and the one third rule you can look more put together. Thank you for the lovely video. Have a blessed week.
Shavua tov, Frum Fam! 💙🙏🕊

I live to look my best! Sara, congratulations on the weight loss...you look simply beautiful!

Sara, auntie, you are super cool. Your demeanor and wise advice is very inspiring.
Thank you for putting so much work and dedication into your videos and messages. We do not live in the same part of the world but you inspire me to live a happier and more Bible-abiding lifestyle.
I wish you and your family the best. Thank you so much.
Have a nice day!
I love your sense of HUMOR in this one!! Bless you!
I love to look my best.
I've been a little lazy about that in theast 4 years. Thank you for the reminders.
What a great video! Love to look my best! Any and all tips, tricks and optical illusions are wanted! Thank you Sara!
Aww thank you Shoshi! Xoxoxo
I love to look my best, that’s why I always say that I love your charisma you pair everything perfectly so elegant and beautiful, how are you my sweet sister sending lots of love your way xoxoxo❤
I love to look my best! You have inspired me to get out my dressy boots, which I haven’t worn for several years, and see if I can make them work. A suggestion that I have for you about getting wrinkles out of your green blouse and skirt is to try hanging them on plastic hangers in your bathroom while you are taking a hot shower(s). We’ve often done this with graduation robes, and it has helped quite a lot.
I Love To Look My Best.
The gray knit set is very cute on you! I also love the Chanel belt ;)
I’ll be at work when this premiers! I promise to watch as soon as I get home! ❤
Stay safe at work sweetie!
I love to look my best! Thank you again for all your wonderful content!
