Wait a second… so are theatrical Chinese/English subtitles non-existent on the Eureka 4K Blu-ray? From what I can remember, the HK Film Archive restored the film in 4K but had to use a theatrical print which contained the burnt in subtitles for missing sections of the restoration. Not terrible but far from perfect.
That's what it stated. But it seemed that they had a clean print with no subs so they could generate their new ones... :S Thanks for watching!
@@invincibleasiaofficial I wonder if Eureka took the extra effort to digitally clean out the theatrical subs. Regardless, I'll have to check out the 4K UHD one of these days.
They could well have. But yes, definitely pick it up when you can :)
Way much better than the so called American action imitation and terrible Hollywood knockoffs
