    I'm a 66 year old woman just getting n2 my power tools. I have various power saws, impact driver, (changed my life) etc. I've convinced myself that I need a brad nailer, (and stapler, but that will come later.) I have mostly Ryobi stuff. Thx 4 the review, and as always, "you the man."

    I’m one of those guys who started off with one Ryobi and now have virtually the whole range. My only issue thus far is with the narrow stapler. If I haven’t used it for a few days then I find that it makes the right noises, but doesn’t fire the staple. After dismantling, couple of squirts of WD40 and wiggling the piston it works again, and does so for the rest of the day. However, leave it for a few days and I have to repeat the process.

    I recently picked up the older P320 ($99) for a project, and it worked perfectly well for me. Tried the bump mode to just test it, but I haven’t used it in an actual project. For the price and performance, Ryobi nailed it down perfectly. Hopefully the new nailers will still be affordable.

    Yes I want a Ryobi Framing Nailer. I am done purchasing air tools. If I can get the same job done without an air hose I'm doing it. These new cordless 18v tools are it. They're strong and they last a long time. The days of the lame old cordless are gone. I'm going cordless, and my platform is Ryobi.

      I couldn’t agree more. Having a cordless nailer, inflator, or impact wrench makes it so easy to grab for the smallest jobs.

    The previous version 18GA brad nailer to that one has been great and I’ve never had any problems with it and for the price, can go wrong, once my current 18GA brad nailer goes bad whenever that is, I’m definitely getting that new version.

    I’m a first time homeowner and diyer and RYOBI is the only brand in my arsenal. It’s perfect for home projects. People that work daily on job sites might need more higher performance but I’ve never had a complaint with my tools. The batteries last very long too.

  • @anthonytammer9214
    @anthonytammer9214 Před rokem +1

    I bought a Milwaukee stapler that failed after one week usage. The compressed nitrogen tank leaked I guess. Ryobi doesn't have this: The design is simpler, the tool is a little lighter, the weight balance is better, and it seems to work just fine. The dreaded "ramp-up time" is not an issue at all. Of course there is a lot of plastic here, so don't drop it!

    Been using Ryobi tools since they started. At the time they were much cheaper and yet I've only had ONE of their tools break and it was a rotozip type and it was drywall dust. I've dropped the drill off a 12' ladder and have it bounce and yet keeps working.

    I'm on my second p360 crown stapler. Both jamb constantly. The staples don't jamb, the striker does. I have to disassemble, free up the pin, and reassemble. Then I get 3 or 4 shots and the same problem occurs. I've tried oiling it, but nothing seems to work. I HIGHLY recommend staying away from the Ryobi line of cordless nailers.

I do have a electric Ryobi power washer that has been used abused and it's still going but if that's what you can afford and it does the job for you then more power to you. 😎🇺🇸👍

    It DOES have the bump mode. You even showed us the button. One direction will fire one nail and in the other position, you press the finger button and bump to your heart's content. I just got mine and had no problem doing a rapid successive firing. You have to push the button which is a safety measure so it doesn't accidentally go off when you drop it or set it down against something, like your leg.

    I do have a question for you? As I posted, I picked up the older, currently on sale 18 gauge brad nailer do to sale price. The major difference I have seen between the two: older model-Two LEDs for light and has turbo bump mode and smaller handle for clean out. newer model: Has bigger lift handle for clean out, one LED and no turbo bump. So, between these two brad nailer-Which one do you prefer?

      I go cheapest brother. Both good nailers, but first generation would be fine 👊👊👊

    Awesome channel, funny as hell! I would love myself a nailer like that, sadly it's 300$ BARE TOOL here in Europe. I don't even want to tell you what they charge for the Milwaukee.

    Which would you recommend for things like Bird Houses or other projects. I am trying to get my kids involved in projects and when it comes to power tools we'll they are ready to party.

      I think the ryobi nailrs are great and not that expensive. Go with these for the hobby projects 💪

    I've got their 16g finish nailer and I'm happy, but I haven't had occasion to need rambo mode. I don't see that coming into play for me often, so I imagine I won't miss it with the brad nailer either. Also, should we send more band aids? I'm very concerned. lol
