I had a flamepoint kitty cat in my 20’s. My brothers friend’s cat had a litter and my brother brought him to me out of the blue. He was awesome. RIP Casper.

i love these kind of stories. my cat had 5 kittens and the last one was really, really small. we called her Tiny. but she was constantly getting bullied by her littermates and wasn't able to nurse adequately, so i had to keep her with me for 3 weeks. i cuddled her, slept with her and fed her every 2 hours until she was strong enough to fend for herself. and i'm very happy to say all 5 kittens were adopted into loving forever homes!

This morning, my beloved cats were unexpectedly with eachother and didn't get aggressive towards the other. Usually they do play fighting but I saw them curled up and sleeping, it felt so sweet seeing them. Then I heard a "ᵐᵉᵒʷ" and realized.. there's kittens. I cried from happiness seeing those 4 babies :')
It's scary taking care of them, but also exciting. I can't wait until they become 5-8 weeks old

Please keep my baby kitten in your prayers.. Found a one week old kitty all alone on the side of the road this morning. He still has his eyes shut and he isn’t breathing well at all. He came crying and running to the sound of my car. He’s clearly starving and in really bad shape. He’s at the vet now. I’ve taken so many in on the verge of death and nursed them back to health. There’s an influx of kitties at the shelter, so if I took him there he’d be instantly put down. Everyone deserves a chance at life, I just hope I can give him it. 💞💞💞

@@agnieszkaszmidt4292 Aw thank you for asking! He’s amazing now, he’s very healthy and very feisty. He’s got a great personality and extremely energetic. It’s amazing to see the side by side pictures of the day I found him vs. now. He probably didn’t even have the rest of the day to live at the time. He’s doing so good and it brings me so much joy to see he gets a second chance at life. 💕💕
I'm just mad that you neglected to give Poppy a special thanks at the end.

My kitten is also premature. He didn't get any milk from his mom, and his umbilical cord was still added to his belly. My friend and i Found him in a parking lot of my building (cats live there). He had his eyes closed, no teeth and was wet. He was 1 day old because me and my neighbours heard him at night. He was smaller than my hand, i put my mask to warm him and brought him to my apartment.
He has teeth, open eyes and he's very playful!
He's now 2 months old. My family and i managed to him alive.
We are gonna give him in adoption ( I Don't want to )...
I'm so glad Poppy and Hank have such a great support system. They have wonderful pet parents. 😘

My friend found a kitten two months ago that I took in. This super sick, underweight, about month old kitten. I named him Toad, and did my best to raise him. I had him for about a week before he passed away. When I got him the vet said he had tons of internal issues and that he probably wouldn’t make it another day. I was happy with the time I actually had with him, even though he didn’t make it and it broke my heart.

Oh Hank is beautiful. Those eyes. So clear blue. And she is white. I had a white cat while growing up. Her name was you guessed it....Whitey. The best cat ever.

Hank is such a fighter, such a survivor! Reminded me of how just in the beginning half of this year, my Mom and I were doing everything to nurture a newborn kitten who was abandoned by her colony (we have no idea why that all suddenly disappeared, maybe people caught them, took them away, but left the little baby behind?), but unfortunately, just as her eyes were opening, she passed away.
She had to fight against parasites, an inability to swallow properly, and many other things that required us having to take her to the vet constantly. We did everything to keep her alive, even staying up for 16+ hours straight taking turns to keep her fed and warm round the clock. But my poor baby passed as my Mom was petting her in her warm, comfortable box bed.
I still feel so guilty about it, even though we did everything, sunk hundreds of dollars into her vet care, and poured all the love and resources we could into her fight against all odds. I feel like maybe I did something wrong, like maybe I let her get lukewarm in the very brief time (around thirty seconds to close to a minute) I had to warm hot water for her bottle, before we'd take her to the vet. But Fading Kitten Syndrome is very real, and very difficult to combat once it starts setting in. The vets told us we did everything perfectly, but perfect doesn't mean saved.
I just hope that, wherever my baby is, she is running around having the time of her afterlife, warming herself in the sunlight, and surrounded by other kitties who love her and mother her when her momma couldn't. A big thank you to Hank's parents for keeping her alive against it all. To see a kitten so similar to mine survive and become such a gorgeous cat is cathartic, even if it's bittersweet because of what happened with mine.
Rest in peace, my dear girl, and all the best to precious Hank. 💕

I completely understand the close bond you have with Hank. My Monty was only a day old - found by a lady on her doorstep, she passed him onto our vet who rang us up and we took him. Bottle feeding night and day, etc. We loved him so much and had such a special bond with him. Monty blessed us for 9 wonderful years (yep, chronic asthmatic, too, but his asthma was under good control!), before passing away from cardiac failure. That bond was special - he was my fur child..
She is gorgeous! A little bouncy ball! Thank you for giving her the best chance. Poppy is beautiful as well, a wonderful sibling.

"Her odds were nonexistent" yet it survived.. that tells me that the odds did exist, they were just very low. The only way you can say odds are nonexistent, is if there was a 0% chance of success. So even at at 0.00000001% chance, there is still a chance! We need to live our lives knowing that there is always a chance, to push forward, get back up when knocked down, don't give up.

My dad was a dog person one day when I was 11. My mother brought home a gorgeous black cat with stunning gold eyes my father fell in love not only did he wind up having several cats But he would feed spay and neuter feral cats in Orlando, Florida He passed away a few years back. My kind and caring brother. Made sure the photographs of his favorite cats were with him when we said our last good-byes. They were a very big part of his life and he took such care for them. Sometimes I think he loves him more than us his own children LOL

I have saved several tiny new kittens and they do very good. I took a heating pad and stuck towels on it to keep the kitten warm. Then bottle feed them
