At the age of 47 my husband of 25 years sadly passed away. We started our family late thus my youngest was only 10. I spent 6 years focusing on my little girl. When she turned 16 I thought I don’t wish to be alone and with the support of my children at the age of 53 I went out and found someone to love. But because my age I did it the old fashioned way, I spoke to people when walking the dog or at the gym or when I was playing badminton etc. I have had a new partner for ten years now. My advice is to go out and look for a person who has the same values as you and who you know will love and support you not only when you are at your best but when you are struggling.
