I think my high score was 660k at the Gurnee one, I can't remember for sure it was a few months after it opened. On the magic mountain one I think I got 430k. Always top 1%. Score only really achievable when you are alone in a car.
So it is true that those things costed $25M each. Fuuucking hell. LIke, yal know how much cheap garbage from Zamperla or S&S you can get for that??!?!!
$25 Million?! For that price, they could've gotten a themed coaster like Baron 1898. Justice League already felt dated the last time I went on it, and for something that is only 3 years old, that's not a great statement.
Hey so what company supplies/manufactures these control panels for six flavs? I tried looki g up allen bradley and clicked on products but i couldnt find anything. Also, please do the america eagle and giant drop!! Keep em coming love your videos!! And when maxx force is done do that one too!:)
Different depending on the ride. Usually the manufacturer does it. Allen Bradley hardware. Six flags has its own engineering team that designs and installs panels for rides that need it.
You mentioned the one at SFSTL being worse than the one at SFGAM in terms of downtime, and that couldn’t be more true. It was obnoxious how often the ride went down.
Hey so I was at SFGAm today and Raging Bull's red train was gone? Not on the track or in storage. Do you know why? Also, why do all the Superman crews suck? Like, sorry if that's rude but they were seriously only sending trains every 4-6 minutes. Every time I go it's like that.
Unfortunately there is no sense of urgency trained into people anymore. Why I don't enjoy visiting. Frustrating to wait in line for a ride that is running at 33% of it's actual hourly capacity. Must not be ready yet. Probably won't be on until after the New ride opens. Very sad.
@@realsfgamfan You hold the gun and shoot but the beam on the screen pulls right so you're firing in front of you but the beam veers off so you have to compensate by holding the gun in odd and weird angles.
@@realsfgamfan You said "Magic Mountain same as ours". The differences include some of the gaming aspects and video changes. Fog screen I believe is a little different on video, an and of course Harley that plays a role in the ride. But the system is the same, like you said with the interactive shooting. But they're definitely not clones

Or a decent B&M!
@@realsfgamfan yup. You could build x-Flight around twice more with that.
Sad!

nice vid! you should do eagle or dark knight next
maybe tdk next
As of 2019 auto dispatch was keyed off and each car is sent manually
@@maxburton87 yes that began last year. I'll talk about it. Unfortunate.
Very awesome video!

Allen Bradley just makes the HMI (screen). The whole panel is probably made by a third party from many different manufacturers parts
@@BenneLuke the buttons and switches are Allen Bradley 800T series. You are right about the enclosure that could come from anywhere.
Wow I miss working this ride. Code 0084 was a bitch
still is to this day 😂😂

Disappointing!

@@realsfgamfan So is the red train undergoing repairs or something?
Annual rebuild.
Do you know what software the computers that controlled the projections ran? Also what were the specs of the pcs that ran the projections?
Don't know the specs but they were powerful machines. I think the name of the company was Alterface or something I can't remember.
Christie Projectors!
TDK had a chair before the JLBFM building was finished, tho.
Hmmmm I don't remember but you're probably right. But they definitely only started allowing that that year
@@realsfgamfanIn the past few years they have given (tall pool) chairs to most rides at operator!
@@foldedlettuce1554 The tall pool chairs are so uncomfortable at most of the coasters 😭
Any idea why the lasers are pulling to the right?
Improper maintenance. Haven't ridden it in a year or two so don't know exactly what you mean

Magic Mountain has a good amount of differences in the version...
What does this mean? I understand there are differences. But the interface with those differences is the same.

I understand that. Yes the ending is different and there are extra effects but essentially the same ride. Just a little longer.
