One time I was at twisted Timbers waiting to get on and there was a fault requiring them to remove a train and restart the ride. The ride start up sound says to clear the ride area so when the sound players some people in the station thought they had to evacuate the station😂

I want to be a ride op some day. My home park is kings dominion and I think their log flume would be cool to work at because 1 the station still uses manually actuated stoppers in the station (double load double unload station) and also the operator at the top of the lift uses their panel to advance boats from the holding area after the load stations so they don’t just sit there all day.

It’s not adjusting speed, it goes fast so you can get to the top quickly, then it slows down before the top of the lift, and once the full train has cleared the lift block it slows down to a slow speed to reduce wear

I want them to replace the midcourse with a dip like the turn and drop before orions break run

Love this, I work nitro at Great Adventure. Always striving to never stack trains and to keep the lift motor running as consistently as possible. We only got two trains right now but hopefully we'll be back on three soon :)

So question regarding trim brake one at top of lift is it the same thing on the older first gen B&M inverts like Raptor? Asking cause ive seen B&M inverts with it and never knew what it did.

Man I love this. Wish all parks (especially Six Flags) would operate like this. The best of operations I've ever experienced was on Raging Bull. 2nd probably on Goliath Over Georgia.

trim kills the 2nd half of both sides, but Red is still OK. Helix was never smooth, I assume 3 row PTC trains just shuffle too much. Thanks for posting

I rode this in 1981 with buzz bars and no Monstre boards. Coaster was beautiful back then. The helix has always been rough and unfortunately GP think coaster is too old because of this. But the helix is what makes this coaster unique.

They already have an intense non-family batman. A eurofighter is so similar to b&m invert LAYOUT wise. It was intentionally a wildmouse to be a family ride. No duh I agree a eurofighter would be leagues better but that's not what they were ever going for with TDK.

I don’t think chasing as it’s advancing into/out of the station would be possible cause it first needs to disengage the pins then all chassis wheels on all 8 rows need to be in the SAM cause otherwise they’ll come in and not be inside the SAM.

I’ve operated dozens of dozens of coasters. One of the hardest I’ve ever had to operate was The Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at universal. That ride has so many buttons its not even funny. The op is responsible for about 35 buttons, and knowing what you can and cant press on the RCS. However, it was the most fun I’ve ever had
