I definitely needed to hear your words of encouragement! I am going to remember what you said “today I’m not teaching your math, I’m teaching you to overcome when things get hard.” I love that so much. Math has certainly been a journey with my daughter and I have told her that we get to choose to do everything, even learning math, as though we are doing it for the Lord. This is our 3rd year using Right Start Math😃 it’s definitely very teacher intensive, and has a very different approach than traditional math, as you said! We really love the “hands on”, manipulative and games aspect of the curriculum! I really wanted a curriculum heavy on mental math, and this is definitely the one! 😃

Just found your channel and have been binge watching your videos. Also just checked out your website. I must say thank you! You totally get me! I feel all those things you talk about on your website. I am a new homeschool mom and have so much curriculum and want to do it all and make it all work. And I can't understand how other people keep their house clean and food on the table amidst it all. And I've developed anxiety since becoming a homeschool mom! I'm always anxious about getting everything done. Then I'm snappy to my kids and irritable. I do feel enslaved. To perfectionism, over achieving and anxiety. I know God is using homeschool to strip me down of this stuff. I want to be the fun, spontaneous mom who goes w the flow and let's the child's interest lead. Praying for that! Your videos and website have already helped me so much and I can't wait to dig in more. I thank God for leading me here where I have been reminded of why I'm doing this in the first place. With the Lord's help and people like you He directs me to, we will get there! Amen! Thank you for all your hard work!

Right now, we are using ACE Paces Math and The Good and the Beautiful. ☺️
