Thanks. I could not visualize how I would seal the top part of the plastic so that water did not get to the insulation. But I see now that you need to elevate the plastic tank so that the cut edge is 1/16" from flush with the top of the metal frame. Now I need to figure out how I am going to get that tank and frame into my screened pool enclosure.

I did not seal top plastic ,because I used pir insulation they are completely waterproof ,never have problem with overfilling ,marked water level on first try .

only use an ibc that has held food grade or other inert substances. Some substances you can not effectively clean out and could be extremely harmful.

Yes correct ,that’s why took some time to found good quality used ibc tank straight from supplier.

Hi, how did you fix that timber to the metal cage?
With glue?

I used self tapping screws and screwed from inside of the cage straight to the timber (0:40 of video)

How do you keep it clean? Is chlorine safe to use in these plastic totes?

I installed sediment 10 micron filtration system please see on plumbing and heating for more info czcams.com/video/IwBfuOrEvMg/video.html we still use epsom dead sea salt approx 5kg,I can keep water clean in the tube for around a week only if we using everyday.

Tank is 1000l-220gallons but because you never fill up all the way to the top I normally top up with approx 160-170gallons of water.2 adults when inside,can push water level higher.

Cool, but would have enjoyed the vid much more if you would have left out the dumb music and actually showed you using the tub... Is a ibc tote even large enough for two people?? I'm doubting this is a good project at all considering the size of a ibc tote...
