  • Hugh Thompson found himself in a position most of us will never encounter. He made difficult choices and he made the right decision.
    Hugh Thompson was the helicopter pilot who tried to halt the My Lai massacre of 500 villagers by US troops during the Vietnam War.
    30 years later, Thompson was awarded the highly regarded Soldier’s Medal by President Clinton for his actions.

    A very important message about "Doing the Right Thing" by the man who stopped the My Lai massacre, at great personal price to himself. Morality. Courage. Not going along with the crowd...He was unfortunate to have died at the relatively young age of 62. This video is part of his legacy that we should listen to and learn from.
