My Virgin Kitchen is a CZcams channel I created when I wanted to teach myself how to cook and create a video diary of the journey / mrbarrylewis . I have never had a professional lesson & am just your every day chap attempting recipes to inspire you guys to try too. I like it when you and Ashens do collabs. You two have good dynamics together and despite Ashen being the more powerful presence, he doesn't overshadow you at all. It's pretty keen.
Same here, I really enjoy these Bashens collaborations. Barry and Stuart have good chemistry, the are able to joke around well and play off each other.

A curious fact about Oreos is that Oreo is itself a knockoff of Hydrox cookies which were invented four years earlier.

+Barry Lewis They are vegan! In the US lots of vegans won't eat them because they use bone char sugar but in the UK they use beet sugar which doesn't use bone char filtering - its the one reason why I struggle to eat healthy!

I had some knockoff Oreos that were from some gluten free line (Glutino, maybe?), I don't think I could eat regular Oreos ever again... I mean, think of a Double Stuffed Oreo and then make the cream creamier and better tasting, and the cookies firm rather than hard.

That Tango Rolly reminds me of the 'Brain Licker' sweets, which were basically a roll-on sort of sweet. The liquid, I guess, is more bitter though.

The first thing I thought when I saw that stick thing was called King Tango, was to remember those old tango ads in the 90's with the big genie like guy who went around slapping peoples faces when they had a drink of the stuff.

The 'twisted mallows' reminded me of ashens' video 'delicious mallows' and now I can't get that song out of my head

The lumarki look like Giotto. Also the Kinder Keks are apparently meant to be dipped in a liquid (for example milk). They hold their shape when wet and are easy for toddlers to eat. Particularly before they drop all their teeth.
I love these two together. Their personalities mesh so well.

That tango thing reminded me of that squirty tango that used to be sold. I only saw it in a few shops, and it wasn't very long, so I'm guessing it didn't sell very well which is a shame since I loved it

I was worried during the upside down King Tango bit Barry did a bad job getting goo on the rim but Ashen's tongue made quick work of that! Bravo

I LOVE those Cofresh Chilli and Lemon! Found them years ago in a local market, now Tesco do them. Epic snack.

I made Nutella chocolate chip cookies for a French class back in high school and the Nutella oozed out like described here. It was so good. Homemade is the best for these cookies for sure.
I love those chilli and lemon crisps. Can easily eat a full bag. I haven't seen them for a while though.

I've bought those plenty of times before. Only grievance I have with them is you only get like 6 in a packet.

I sometimes get the Jalapeno potato grill things from Poundland, and they're pretty good. The Fish & Chips are awesome! I remember having them as a kid when they were in a red pack. But there was only S&V flavour, now you can get S&V, Pickled Onion & Curry
Cofresh Crisps. made in leicester about 3 miles from where I live. Eat them all the time. there's chilli and lemon, they also do a Jalapeno version as well

Used to be a corn snack called Wackies back in the late 70s that were shaped like that. They were salt n vinegar flavoured.

Whenever I hang out in town with my best friend, we always bob into Poundland. They sell my favourite shampoos and conditioners cheaper than other places.
They were still selling those fish and chip crisps in supermarkets in the later 90's/early 00's. They're soooo good! Forgot all about them until I noticed them in Poundland.
I was pretty much restricted to Flumps, Freddos and Chomps sweet-wise.

We have the O2 here in Denmark to. They are ok and waaaaaay cheaper. I use them if I have a recipe that calls for Oreos

I love these Nougatelli Cookies. This is the only brand with these kind of cookies i found to be good so far.

In America we have TANG which is an orange drink mix and the brand looks similar to "Tango"
sometimes things can work out dearer in poundshops. those fish n chip things are a quid, sometimes less anyway. those grill things ar the beginning are about 60-70p in supermarkets
also asda do proper oreo snack packs for £1.80 for 10 packs which works out cheaper than the o2 and better

Those cofresh crisps are great. There's a local store that has those packets for 2 for £1 round here. Good for when watching movies.

Watching this oh so many years later, seeing King Tango spray hit me with a wave of nostalgia.
Looking up the Tango brand, it saddens me to see how Tango Cherry hasn't been around for quite some time.
And like with plenty of other food & drink products, I miss the packaging design from my youth, the diagrams of the fruit.
Lilt seems to be making a bit of a comeback though, although Fanta has done away with their retro logo for a bland simplistic one. While Aldi & Lidl sell off brand with designs closer to the classic one.
