Dude, I'm perfectly fine with you reacting to this entire concert. It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. At least you could react to It Happened Quiet or Lucky from the same show. Lucky was written when she was 9 yrs old. And pretty dark for that age. But beautiful and amazing as well. And that cat has such a loud purr!

No - the greatest thing you'll ever LEARN is to love and be loved in return. She does have her own unique take on this song..and it works very well, imo. Nat King Cole's recording does not sound at all mysterious. Gorgeous, yet. Mysterious, no. Aurora does make it sound like something out of GOT or some other mists of time. :) And David Bowie's cover is also unique and wonderful to him.

Lovely reaction! It was greatest thing you can learn, not lose though. I have been a fan of her for a long time but have compltely missed this song for some reason, and it's absolutely enchanting!
Also put down some tinfoil on those surfaces you don't want kitty on and she will be displeased and avoid said surfaces after a few days/weeks and you can remove it again. That said kitty here gets free roam as I have just given up with his gremlin behavior.

I have this song in 3 LP Versions, of the "Gandalf" & "Great Society" both 1968 and another I can not locate atm, It is a wonderful piece of early 40's that fits her aethereal vocals perfectly. Great choice, great outcome, great review. I didn't knew she did that one thanks.

I like to recommend Little Boy In the Grass also from her Nidarosdomen performance. It's one of her older songs which she no longer includes in her live setlists which is sort of a shame as it's one of my favourites of hers. The subject matter probably makes it one of the more personal of her songs. I'll leave it to you to look up what it's about your best bet is probably the Aurora wiki.

The original is a pretty song and there have been some great covers but Aurora just perfects this song in my opinion.
You should know that Nature Boy is a cover of Nat King Cole, and there is a Version from David Bowie. But Aurora managed it to make her own special Version. ;-)
