There is not even a grain of truth in this post. It’s just a pack of lies. The so called “St. Mary’s Jacobite center” was a building under the owner ship of a group of people that belonged to different denomination. St. mary’s Syrian orthodox church had leased it from the center to conduct worship . The lease expired on October 7th and the center didn’t renew the lease for the church. The reason for this decision was explained by a office member of the center at the last pothuyogam of the church. At the this “pothuyogam” official stated that the jacobite center will remain a non-denominational entity. Any denomination can come there and worship. The center will not be under any bishop or diocese. Because of this decision, the st.mary’s Syrian orthodox church moved to a location close to the center on October 9th. In a nutshell this is the true story of what happened
Having said this , everything in life happens for a reason. One person left the church before us to make room for our place of worship. That person was “mother mary”. Now the center is an empty nest or more like a facility that can be rented by anyone. If you repeat a lie many times at some point it will be perceived as truth. The foundation of the center is based on 4 things. Lies, bold faced lies, white lies , and damn lies. A system cannot last for ever with a pack of lies as the foundation.
As the bible says “Don’t be afraid, little flock, because your Father delights in giving you the kingdom”. St. Mary’s Syrian orthodox church is functioning without a break. We had our continuation of worship at a nearby church on oct 9th
The name carved in the stone suggest that the original church was in the name Jacobite church and consecrated by late Bava of JSC. Then how can it be non denominational. But in between it came under IOC due to some lease agreement etc. Now the original owners got the legal rights of the church to worship there. Is this the truth.
not true. The original name just says it was a center not a church. Now it is club where anyone can conduct service. This could be Christians, hindus, muslims, sikhs or non denominational group. I won't surprised if we don't see a Muslim nikah in the church in the near future. The history of the center can be called a " comedy of errors".
In one stone it is mentioned that the building is church of JSC and holy mass timing etc. This writing in the stone is of some other church may be.
