    Naseem didn't even train that well compared to Barrera. His prep was spent doing a lot of frivolous stuff like planning for his entrance rather than hard training. He didn't seem to have his heart in it anymore so its no surprise Barrera beat him.

    There's no way he hit harder than Lewis lol. Lewis was one of the hardest hitting heavyweights, if a featherweight hit harder than him he'd be knocking everyone in the division out with one punch lol

    • @CCC-gg1to
      @CCC-gg1to Před 4 lety

      He wasn't one of the hardest hitting heavyweights he hit hard and he boxed on a different level but his power wasn't so tremendous that he can be called one of the hardest hitting heavyweights, his power wasn't to be laughed at or shrugged off but to say he was one of the hardest hitting I personally believe is a bit of a stretch

    If Hamed had a rematch with Barera. Hamid would have kicked his ars. Prince Naseem lasted 12 rounds with Barrera with only 1 lost.
    Prince Naseem lost confidence after 1st Defeat.
    Amir Khan is no way near Prince Hamed & he won Barrera.

Lost like a Lion & taking a beating like a Lion, like no one has lasting 12 rounds. He's a Legend & one of the Greatest Champions ever.
    I wish their was a boxer like Prince Naseem in these days would be great for Britain.

    No other boxer has lost a fight like a Hero, who has a strong chin & can take many beatings like Prince Naseem Hamed.
    Not even Paqqio or Maywether can take beatings!
    Hamed's punch's were like Heavyweight but never caught him.
    If Prince had a Rematch he could have KO Barrera in few Rounds.
    Ricky Hatton I admit he could not carry on & was over-rated.

    @standgordon Prince only lost 1 fight without getting KOd. Every Legend fighter loses fights in their boxing career but Prince is spacial & he should have had Rematch.
    Sometimes Legends like Mike Tyson (who is 2nd greatest boxer after Ali) lose the ability to fight due to stress, Drugs, etc. Young Mike Tyson was Unbeatable. Ali & Lennox would even lose.
    Lennox used to back off avoid Tyson in his 20s. Tyson was shit in his weak & he lost last 5 fights to Crappy boxers!

    • @mmadhi

    @standgordon Since Lennox was boxing in his last 3yrs. All legend Heavyweight boxers were out of form such as Hollyfield, specially Tyson. So Lewis after avoiding Tyson in his Prime years fought Tyson when he was at his worst drug, depression yrs. Lewis was good but not the best.
    YOUNG TYSON IS UNBEATABLE BY ANYONE! HIS SPEED WAS FAST AS FEATHER WEIGHT, HIS POWER WAS LIKE IRON & HIS STYLE WAS SCARY FOR ANY OPPONENT!

    Prince wanted to retire after he lost. But if he had a rematch he would have KOd Barrera.
    Their is no one like Prince speedy skills! He made his money & name wanted to retire & not think too greedy!
    Hes a Legand! .

    @burgh171 Mike Tyson is in the top 5 greatest (Youngest) heavyweight boxer ever, Never mind you saying he isnt in the top 10 list. You must be reading the wrong Article. Fact is Mike Tyson is the second greatest heavyweight boxer after Muhammad Ali.
    Muhammad Ali lost his few last fights too (Larry Holms) That doesnt mean Larry Holms is better than Muhammad Ali. Just like Mike Tyson lost to Lewis. Obviously one-day or another these great boxers lose their form. IS LARRY HOLMS GREATER THAN M ALI?

    @standgordon Amir Khan is Good but no way near Prince Hamed. Theirs no difference in American, Euro, Asian, African boxers..
    Look at Klitchco Brothers their Europeans & are World champions.
    Barrera was at his best & Hamid still lasted 12 rounds for his first defeat. But should have had a rematch
    Khan won Barrera who was already down. But young Barrera would have KO Khan
    I dont see Khan lasting long in boxing Career. Their are many better British-Asian Boxers who dont get Chance

  • @KUzZ911
    @KUzZ911 Před 13 lety

    @mattappleyard You don't need to be educated or an expert knowledge about boxing. You need common sense with basic knowledge.
    Prince Naseem would have KO Barrera if they had a Rematch. Prince took the Beating till last round without getting KO. Prince would have learned from his first Mistake.
    Example: Lennox Lewis learned from his defeat KO against Hasim Rahman. A So could Prince Naseem who could take the beating with style till last round. NO OTHER BOXER COULD LAST LIKE PRINCE!

  • @KUzZ911
    @KUzZ911 Před 13 lety

    @burgh171 Lennox Lewis is a good boxer but not the greatest. Young Mike Tyson is way tougher than Lennox. Lennox was backing off Tyson in his young days. Tyson lost to Lewis due to his mental depressed, bankrupt by Don King & drug life. Tyson lost to all softies like William's before he retired. Young Tyson would KO Lewis anytime & Softies after his Lewis lost. Tyson is the second greatest heavyweight boxer ever after Muhammad Ali.
