    Good video. I like my 2019 Hyundai Elantra SEL but it does not have keyless entry or heated seats. Also it has manual seat adjusting. Before this I bought a 2017 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid brand new and liked it better than this but had to sell and buy a van for wheelchair. I had the '17 for 3 yrs and not one problem. I have had my '19 for 18 mos and it just started making a rubbing noise in the steering when I turn either way so I will be taking it in for a check-up. According to some youtube videos, it could be 3 or 4 things wrong.

    A very thorough and well-crafted review. I learned many details here that I couldn't find after a fair amount of other research. While I don't love some of the exterior changes for 2019, I do love how lots of features have moved down from the Limited trim to lower trim levels in 2019. Especially the safety features.

  • @davidyemington7377

    In the United States, the Limited with the Ultimate package on the 2019 model DOES NOT come with heated rear seats. Only the front seats are heated. I suppose Canada has heated rear seats. The car shown in the video has MPH showing on the speedometer which means the car was not filmed in Canada. Very confusing, due to the fact there was even a "closed caption" at the bottom of the screen stating the Ultimate package included heated rear seats.

    • @CarConfections
      @CarConfections  Před 5 lety +1

      Hey David! We apologize for the confusion. You are correct, the Elantra Limited w/ Ultimate does NOT have heated rear seats. When we made this video (back in September) we had limited press information due to it being pre-release. In 2017 and 2018 it had heated rear seats, so I made the mistake of assuming it wouldn't be removed for 2019. Thanks for your patience!

    I'm not really fond of the refresh. It's like the front turned into the geometry project or something. It has grown on me a little. Definitely isn't the worst, but not the best. 2018 is overall better. I do like the minor changes in the interior though.

    Nice job on this review! I'll be the black sheep and say I like the updated styling, more so at the front. It is a very original design and eye-catching. The rear is a bit bland. The 2018 was a very nice looking car, but I felt the front style looked way too much like the Dodge Dart. I like the subtle revisions they made to the dashboard too. They injected more personality into the design.

    Honestly not a big fan of the exterior especially the front end. The sleek angular large grille just doesn't feel right to me mixed with the small triangular headlights. And the name at the back is a pet peeve of mine like the sonata it feels cheesy and doesn't need to be there. To me it's just an unnecessary aggressive design change but I have yet to see it in person and it may grow in me. But as always I feel like Hyundai is heading the right direction in terms of being a heavy competitor against Honda and Toyota.

    The pre-refreshed model in terms of exterior styling definitely looks better. When this car first came out , I thought it look terrible (But since then it's grown on me a little but not 100%). And the interior still needs work (The overall quality still looks cheap , the Kia forte does better in that aspect along with styling). But seeing how impressive the new Santa fe's quality is , I don't think Hyundai wants their products to be thought as cheap anymore.

    Nice job on this review! I like the overhead camera view while you’re driving. This car is at the top of my list for a daily driver if I decide to quit leasing trucks.

    Not sold on the new front end. Better off buying a bargain priced 2018 sport.

      David S Exactly my plan. The 2018 styling looks miles better, and the sports aggressive looks are just icing on the cake.

      @@MacDaddyDev I did just that in October 2018. Buy now. I had a hard time finding one the Premium package. Love my Sport.

    the 2014 Elantra is still the best looking Elantra they ever made.

    The interior looks like my Accent 2012. The Elantra 2018 sport does not have colors at all in the inside of the car.

    Does the warranty come with the car or do you get charged for it if so how much is it?

    Hate the front end styling. I like nothing about it. The back end looks bland too.
