@@cheesedip140 I think he has a video of it on here
My revelation crashes constantly on me
IDK why people think Altair had no character growth. He went from young, and arrogant, and foolish to a wise, truth-seeking leader of the brotherhood.
One of my great friends succumbed to covid recently, he loved this series. I was just reminiscing when this popped up. Thanks dude. Ima enjoy watching this and reliving the memories.
I'm so sorry for your loss dude truly I am
Sorry to hear that 😔 keep his memory alive
Sorry to hear that homie. Remember the cool times.
"It is a great life we lead, brother. May it never change."
Keep his memory alive and be strong, friend.
Requiescat in pace
I may be the only person left who misses the Assassin's Creed multiplayer. It wasn't just counterstrike reskin or call of duty. It took finesse and cunning to weed out your target, and it doesn't end up being "kill everyone." You gotta actually focus on your target
I loved AC multiplayer too. You should check out Fouadix on CZcams. They have build a community of AC multiplayer players keeping the multiplayer lobbies alive till this day
There’s also a discord community for finding lobbies
Ehh, I always found it horifically laggy, unfair and full of cheaters. The amount of times I'd be hidden very well and the assassin would sprint over and immediately kill me, or I'd be running away after stunning them just to get teleported to and dropped.
I can’t believe you didn’t think running a brotherhood ranking up your assassin and having a whole ceremony when they reached rank wasn’t amazingly mind blowing it was to me..
I think he's very wrong about his entire assessment of Brotherhood. That's easily one of my favorite entries in the entire series, it plays better than 2 and the additional things they added feel great
@@princeblackelf4265 pretty spot on to me lol
Considering he praises Revelations afterwards shows he's off base. I think Brotherhood is the best of the Ezio trilogy. Cesare is a great villain and everything about Brotherhood is an improvement over 2 game play wise. Revelations is fun but it's story isn't nearly as compelling and there's for less to do in Constantinople than In either 2 or Brotherhood
Honestly? Kinda feels like he really REALLY disliked it. He said a ton of negatives and barely any praise on the story. To each there own I suppose!
@@princeblackelf4265 Cesare is a shit villain. He's not in the game for most of the story. I mean yeah, he's better than Rodrigo but the bar was pretty low to begin with. Also, less to do doesn't mean Revelations is worse. Every side activity in 2 and Brotherhood is boring and repetitive, except the tombs.
It’s great to have these in a collection. 2 and brotherhood were around peak assassins creed, Ezio is so charming and lovable too
I wish they were remastered versions though
ACB does give me ptsd flashback for trying to get 100% sync on that godforsaken flying and tank missions. I had to use a weird glitch to even succeed in the tank mission. Aside from that, brotherhood and 2 are two of my favorite AC games in the series. Odyssey has definitely risen in rank for me though.
I do feel the later games improve on the Ezio trilogy significantly. Like, the Ezio games rather broken counter combat and stealth where you can't even crouch are hard to go back to
I agree!!!
@@FraserSouris The ac2 counter combat was kind of weird, but the combat in brotherhood was amazing...so satisfying i never got bored of it. The newer games are good but they don't have that assassin's creed soul and passion that the old games used to have
I actually loved revelation. Istanbul was a great setting and the added mechanics were insanely fun
Not to mention aged Ezio himself still being a parkour athlete.
Just in time for the Nintendo Switch port of Assassin's Creed Ezio Collection.
It’s almost like they knew beforehand

It still amazes me to think about the amount of time and work you put into these videos. Thank you for this great episode.
I would love to see what a top to bottom remake of Assassin's Creed would be like.
Nice vd
Hopefully it would have subtitles
AC1 really needs a good remake but I don't really trust current ubisoft for that. Hell, they couldn't even plan a good remake of one of their older flagsship series like Sands of Time. That is just stuck in limbo it seems like.
@@goldmemberpb It's so crazy that Sands of Time dropped off the face of the planet. I think it's because of how badly it was mocked when it was revealed. Ubisoft is either changing a lot to make the game look better or they canceled it. Who knows which.
The first game desperately needs a group up remake, that's for damn sure. The Ezio games still hold up pretty well but they do have some quirks that could use ironing out
It would probably get remade like origins : /
"Boring stoic archetypes", while showing one of the series best and most charismatic protagonists, Edward
Can't deny, I enjoy these collection style episodes. It's a nice binge watch to enjoy previous episodes and remind yourself what you liked about em to begin with. Keep up the great work Jirard, looking forward to the next episode.
I have 100% all AC games any DLC for literally all versions of all games. I can still go through and play through all of them in a row without playing other games. I just absolutely love Assassins Creed and honestly hope they release a new one soon.
Let's go the ezio trilogy 🔥 my boy wasn't put in Soulcalibur for nothing wish he was in 6
I first played assassins creed when i was jn the army in 2007 and fell in love and have played everyone since. I know ac3 gets alot of hate but im a halfbreed native myself so i really enjoyed that one
AC3 is massively underrated.
Overall I prefer Brotherhood to 2. It's story isn't quite as interesting, but it improves on literally everything else. So I'll take it.
Until you get to the full synchs
Both are impossible to complete, feathers and full synchs
I think Brotherhoods story is almost as compelling as 2. Cesare is a great villain and foil to Ezio, effectively becoming like a crazy anti-ezio, but yeah everything g else is an improvement over 2, I think Beotherhood should be seen as an expansion to 2 rather than a sequel, but yes I too prefer it overall myself
Brotherhood should have won game of the year, masterpiece is all i can say
Hell yeah, love these compilation videos of different series. Nothing beats an hour long Completionist session after work 👍😊
I really dig compilations like this. Please keep it up!
To be fair, Altair's lack of personality is kind of the point. Unlike Ezio, Altair was raised to be an Assassin since early childhood while Ezio's father tried to give him a normal life for as long as he can.
One doesn’t experience self-transcendence, the illusion of self only dissipates 🎈
It's a treat hearing some of the old sounds and format again every so often! :)
"I really enjoy assassinating, I really enjoy building up armies, things like that."
-Jirard, our future dictator
I guess it is time I replay this trilogy after 10 years. This reminded me how much I loved Ezio's story.
if you want to make it quite a bit more enjoyable for yourself gameplay wise I highly recommend checking out execution production's two playlists titled "parkour down" and "ac2 combat".
the parkour down one is useful in the entire trilogy and it adds a lot of convenient options to your movement.
ac2 combat is where it's really at though - that made me look at the game in a completely different way. seeing these made it skyrocket up my ac ranking after having played it for years and thinking there was barely anything left to discover. one of its biggest criticisms this game gets, "counter based combat", ceases to exist when you know the mechanics, in fact imo ac2 has by far the best and most skill based combat system in the entire series if you know these things.
execution production's channel: czcams.com/channels/rxthLJiksudukhFUTsOv7g.html
in any case, hope you have yourself a great old time with our boy da firenze
@@oyblech8671 thanks, I'll check it out! :)
This trilogy deserves a true remake with updated character models and everything.
Your AC brotherhood playthrough was the second episode i ever watched of you.
Excellent video Jirard, Assassin’s Creed is a great gaming franchise! It’s really cool how you compiled the 3 Ezio AC games into 1 amazing video!!!
I think i played ac 2 about 16 times. I just love the game and it just puts me back into my childhood
Awesome seeing this as I just completed the ezio collection. I didn’t get into assassins creed until black flag and as much as I love that game , I can see why people loved these older games. They’re not perfect, but considering where they came from and where they are now , I give them two thumbs up.
Love the editing. Thank you for doing things that that I couldn’t do.
And even On my birthday! Thanks jirard
I am so freaking happy that you finally did this been waiting for so long😁
Hearing him talk about the "6$ burger" when nowadays a big mac is just shy of 6$ really hits hard
I recently completed Black Flag on Switch and have been ordering the original ones for the 360. So excited to complete all of them, including the Chronicle mini series.
Every other year I go through all AC games again, start to finish. Usually stop caring mid-way through AC3, then rush to get it and AC4 done, skip Syndicate and Rogue (and the smaller ones like Liberation) and then more recently skipped Origins and Odyssey altogether because they just aren't very interesting to play through a second time.
But boy do I always enjoy those first four games. Real masterpieces.
Looking back at the ps3/360/wii generation I always tend to talk about the exclusive games for each console, but I think the game I enjoyed the most at the time of it's release was Assassin's Creed 2. I never got around to replaying it (and I'm certain I woudn't like it as much as I did back then) but in 2009 that game was just incredible
Love the compilations. More. MORE!!!
i really do appreciate the channel and it's videos!
I love ACII but I think ACIII is my favorite, tree running felt so good after being only limited to buildings and I think Connor is a super-underated protagonist and the story is better than it's given credit for. Also, Assassin Turkey.
3 is my absolute favorite
As a dnd player who has written his fair share of campaigns and characters, I think Ubisoft created Ezio and we’re going to go right to AC 3, but they realized just how popular Ezio was and I think if we did just go straight to Connar, Ezio would’ve felt unfinished and people would’ve wished there was more of him. I’m glad we got three games of him and I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a character in the series as much as I have with him.
Yeah that reminds me what happened to the guy who did all those interjections?
28:44
He was my favorite part of some of these videos.
"Don't hit the Ashley"
Glad to see you are still going strong.
I can honestly say that I prefer Brotherhood over 2. Mainly because it was my first ever assassins creed game but also cause it adds onto what 2 made. Being able to buy shops and property all over rome was really cool, not to mention a great way to earn money
I really miss multiplayer. I loved BH and Rev MP and AC3 in particular I played a lot of. The idea of a free for all of disguised assassins hunting each other and getting more points the more impressive and discreet your assassinations are is unique and cool and was so much fun.
I actually loved Brotherhood the most.
This makes sense as a collection video, and it's nice to revisit them.
Everyone speaking about the Ezio collection. Nobody talking about the DS Ezio game.
What a coincidence I was just re-completing The Ezio Trilogy (Just got to Brotherhood).
Dang it lol. I seem to be one of the few people who actually liked Desmond and wished they would have done more with the modern day stuff...
I hated Desmond in AC2 and Revelations, Brotherhood was easy to forget too, BUT AC3 DESMOND IS BADASS AF
This video reminded me how much I loved Background Brett as a bit in these videos
I've been thinking about playing these games for a while
They just don't make them like this anymore. Black Flag and Origins are the closest ones since Ezio to really draw me in with the cast of characters and stick in my mind. Maybe it was because we saw his entire life over 3 games in 3 years, but he still stands as the best protagonist in the series
Love these games
I like how the ad for this video is the IRL pay currency in the more recent games
I've played every assassins creed up until ac3 10+ times. 3 replays are rookie numbers to me. I love AC
Brotherhood is still my favorite AC game to date
Best Beard Bro Thumbnail Art yet.
100% the game a year and a half ago. Great times
Which one? If it's Brotherhood you must've fought with frustration
@@Engille967 all three, I completed the Ezio trilogy.
Nice
@@1PROTOSS You must be really good to 100% brotherhood tho. AC2 and Rev aren't a big deal to 100% tho.
@@Engille967 I stayed up till 8am just to finish the last of the assassination missions on brotherhood.
Omg I played all of them on platinum these are my favorite games of all time
Requiescat in pace fratello mio
I still love that intro!
Man I forgot how great these were
My best friend took himself in dec 2020 and these games were some of our favorites. We would eat cold pizza every time we played them. It was great
The mattress ad is symbolic of every single haybale and bed of feathers that Ezio landed in.
Just when I'm about to purchase the on switch, right on time
I may be nostalgic about this show but damn do I love it for Jared's love and passion for everything he does and also those that he does it with.
Havnt gone through his video yet. But last time I tried playing the ezio trilogy on Xbox revelations kept crashing and wouldn't let me progress. Issue has been on going since the first release of the trilogy
Thanks 🙏
I was sick with ear and I had to have surgery so at the time I got ac brotherhood and revelations on PlayStation 3 and in brotherhood I just couldn’t fathom Minerva that transparent character that you actually see at the end of assassin’s creed 2
“The same stoic archetypes from the first game”
[Shows footage of Edward, one of the most charismatic characters of the franchise]
🤨
Ah the memories
Would love to see you do a video on black flag! That game slaps
Once you get an assassin recruit to a certain level and assign them to a den they'll basically lock it down unless they die somehow so you can avoid the minigame if you don't like it.
My problem was actually that I couldnt get the minigame enough. I had to intentionally trigger it because I'm so used to keeping my notoriety under control
This is still the highest point of the series for me.
Even gameplay-wise, Black Flag gets the most praise, I do agree that 2 and the expansion packs (and isn't that a throwback term, eh?) were the highlights.
And what I particularly love about the present stuff is how they point out how different things are. I'm 100% convinced that Altaïr was such a blank slate specifically because the Templars didn't care about his personality, only his deeds during the Crusade, and thus didn't bother programming the Animus with those finer nuances. It's why the UI and overall interaction is minimal, too.
The ad read intro really works great for Helix OR G-Fuel lmao
Just a few seconds in and the music makes me feel like a kid again
The fact that AC peeked on its second game says a lot of the state of the series
I think you mean it peaked at 4
Nah that's where it just started. Rogue could clearly be the peak of the series for it has the best gameplay, open world. AC2's story was cool but AC3's story and soundtrack are good+the combat in AC2 is seriously clunky
Whoa that’s a big video!
Im just waiting for 60 fps patch on ps5, but by the looks of things I’m going to be waiting forever. Or at least a year until I get a pc.
It's doesn't really matter what Ubisoft does to assassin's Creed, ezio will ALWAYS be the main character ppl remember.
He isn't and Ezio's Family is NOT the theme of the series. It is Ezio's theme and it has nothing to do with Altaïr, Haytham Kenway, Ratonhaké: ton, Edward Kenway, Adéwalé, Shay Patrick Cormac, Aveline de Grandpé, Arno Victor Dorian or the Fryes. Remember, there are 3 Ezio games out of all 11 or 12 games. Connor doesn't suck, he is his own protagonist, not an Ezio
@@Engille967 Looks like you just got your feelings hurt. No matter how many protagonists you mention here, Ezio has been synonymous with AC as he got the most character development. It is fine if you personally like the other but Ezio is the most popular no doubt.
Im currently playing revelations on the Nintendo switch. These trilogy is great adventure games
Brotherhood still one of the best games in the series. Like my favorite next to Black Flag
Just finished Brotherhood, watching the credits right now
Found the comment that the bot stole.
Jirard looks like he's transforming into Santa Claus.
He must have killed Santa like in that movie. The Santa Clause.
Very coincidentally I bought the ezio trilogy the day before you uploaded this
Not gonna lie, one of the biggest reasons I loved 2 so much is that I vehemently hated 1's stealth. Having to pretend to be a scholar to get around while walking at a snail's pace... I have places to go, I don't have time to be walking so slow just to be caught by psychics
Over the past 2 years I have been 100% running all the AC games from 1 through to Valhalla. On the last game now, i didnt do the multiplayer sadly as i couldnt find any games before the servers shut down :(
Hurry for more Competitionist videos!
I love using bombs in revelations and the hook blade is awesome
I replayed the Ezio trilogy enhanced for Series X lately. Hate to say it, but they really haven't aged well...
Dude, it’s clunky af. I tried so many times. Black Flag and up, for me.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who never understood that Adam and Eve cutscene
I got the platinums for the trilogy too amazing games loved them
It is a Good Life We Lead Brother. The Best. May It Never Change, And May It Never Change Us.
- Ezio Auditore Da Firenze
Brotherhood was the peak.
Great Games. Great Video.
I got it for PS3 when it first dropped but I never got to finish the original Assassin's Creed. I never figured out why it glitched, but I'd get to a point in the game where I'd get to a certain beacon on the map but it wasn't there in the game and I could go no further and do nothing else but restart the game. After starting over maybe five or six times, I finally gave up, moved on to other games, and never returned to it. I played AC2 later but can't even remember if I finished it, and aside from about ten minutes of Black Flag at a friend's in 2013 I've never played any other AC game. I really hate that the original game soured the entire franchise for me but it is what it is.
I forgot the armour you unlock in 2 was called Altair’s armour and now I’m kinda upset that it doesn’t show up in revelations seeing as your playing Altair later in his life
assassins creed 2 was my first platinum
Nooooooo way. I am in brotherhood now, on the way of finishing all three for the 9th time probably! Cheers Gerard, appreciate ya bud
The comparison to Star Wars in funny in hindsight given how the releases of Rogue One and Solo released.
this was such a ncie suprise
