I really, really like how easy it is to make your own connections at the wire's ends. If, however, you have a kit that is a multi-color, you'll have more than two wires. That's where I have a mess, all the pre-fitted connection plugs (not CD, another vendor). I have all the wires stuffed into a little felt bag, but everything runs into my saddelbags. I would love to see a demo of how to do this with the greater wire count of multi-color LED strips! I came to this video, because I am thinking about re-doing everything I have for LED lighting, replacing with Custom Dynamics.

I installed mine this evening and it was pretty easy to install. The video helped a lot! To make it easier for myself, I positioned the lights, ran the wires, then affixed the lights to bike. My wires were kind of a rats nest at the cage clamps, not sure why it got so messed at that point. I accidentally lost the rubber cover over the push button light switch, still can't find it. Lights look and work great. - Edit: took the bike out tonight, got tons of random compliments.

Great detail in this install. I would have liked to see exactly where on or near the caliper the install will happen. That is the only area I am unsure about.
My kit should arrive today. I was hoping to get the answer to the position on or near the caliper.

Will the lights be able to stay on while cruising or only when the motorcycle is parked?
Joyce, these will be able to stay on while you are cruising. It can remain on at your discretion.
I just got my kit for the wheels, under fuel tank and the two short strips for where ever I choose. My one question right off is about the "promoter" vile/tube. I can't get my fingers to work it during a trial run through. Can't get that tube with the soft end around enough to rub down the back of the calipers. Also kind of difficult under that tank in spots. I just watched another guy use a packet of promoter which was a flat looking hand wipes and it was allot easier looking to apply. So the question I have is this. Is the "Promoter an acetone based chemical? Because I saw another dude using just acetone with a micro fiber cloth to wipe down the caliper area. Or I could just go to Lowe's and see if they have that 3M cleaner/"promoter" in a can, and do what you did.

The 3M™ Primer/Promoter provided in the accent light installation kits is recommended in order to clean the surface and increase the adhesive potential (leaves the surface tacky so the 3M™ tape can adhere even better). Using the 3M™ Primer/Promoter is the best way to ensure proper adhesion. You can Google search for ‘3M 94 Primer 70016054846’ in order to purchase locally. However, if you’re unable to find it locally, we suggest you substitute ISO Alcohol for the 3M Primer to guarantee the surface is clean. If you have any other questions, feel free to let us know! Just recived this kit and this is one of the more time consuming kits to install .😖
1-Why not install a wire on the box to use a acc switch from the bike to turn on and off the unit.
2-why are you guys still using a one piece wire from end to end .it would be easier if you make a connection wire that can plug and unplug that way a Y adaptor can be used if you want to add more light say up front of out back.
3- time to change the way the wire connects at the end as well ,just make a connector that plugs in this will be much simpler and faster for the installer.
Just my thoughts.

Hi Hugo he didn't install the led lights on the pipes,they've been install on the saddle frame instead so there is no contact with heat sources.
Exactly right; because the LED light strips install on the bike frame, saddlebag support rails, back of the horn, back of the air cleaner and the nose/frame of the bike - heat isn't an issue!

The horn cover that you see in this video is unfortunately a discontinued Mini Beast™ Air Horn cover which is no longer produced/available for sale. My 14 street glide came with the lights already how do I know if I can change lights on it or not. Is it changed by the remote? The lights are blue and I’m not sure if it’s a fixed color or not. Would love to be able to change them to red.
They are custom dynamic street wizard or street magic. I forgot exactly what it says on there is there any way to tell just by the remote?
