Announcers always want an exciting game. They don't want to spend the whole second half talking about human interest stories or celebs in the crowd. It was great for me as a Bucs fan but if I was not a Bucs fan I would have been rooting for the Chiefs to at least make it a game.
Shaq Barrett and Ndamukong Suh were a big support for the Buccaneers this season. Period.

@@starkiller578 true story. However, JPP, Suh, Barrett and Vea are hard to handle no matter what. You can’t run the ball on Tampa especially with LaVonte and Devin at linebacker.

Big props to Todd Bowles, when he arrived we had the worst defense in the NFL (last in yards allowed, 2nd last in points allowed), and by the end of his second season we’re shutting down the Chiefs in the SuperBowl!!!

As a Buc fan since the Creamcycle era this year was incredible for so many reasons. The Lightning ,Rays and Bucs provided enjoyment thru a miserable long year w Covid ruining everybody's lives. I thank them and salute them.
Shaq is the best edge rusher in the league. It’s very clear after watching this. His speed! the way he’s able to run down the opposing quarterback after they get away initially is paramount. He’s a very big part of our success and would be hard to replace. I had to comment after watching this video. You also see the secondary grow in this video. Bucs fan here since since 1997 all due to madden and them new red jerseys that year. Learned the roster by using them in Madden football game and have been a fan since. Cost me a pretty penny too because I’ve purchased NFL Sunday ticket every year since 2000 to watch us lose and lose and lose. This year made it worth it all.
Brooo same I feel in love with the Bucs from madden I watched my brother play and told him to pick the Bucs because of the logo and my favorite color red, this was early 2000s didn’t start watching till 2013, and the 2 years I had Sunday ticket was a free promotion from Direct TV and it was 2016 when we almost made the playoffs and this year when we take it all, I had the best feeling coming into this season and a better one coming out of it
As a candian who grew up watching almost exclusively hockey, i started getting into football 10 years ago because of the offensive side of the game, but over the years have grown to respect and see the beauty of a good defense.....football is now my favorite sport by a long mile!

Coming back a few months after the SB win, I LOVE the energy and the hatred that Devin White showed against the Saints in the Divisional round. He was a man on a purpose, they were not going to beat us three times in one season.

The offense gets all the glory but if you're Tampa Bay fan you know where the game is at. That's on the defensive side. These men amongst boys got the job done in the playoffs when it counted. Congrats fellas

I think Dean was the most under appreciated guy on the defense. Him or Whitehead since they do so much that creates opportunities for the other flashy names

Mike Edward's, Will Gholston, and SMB who had to man the slot which is as difficult as being a number 1 corner cause of the traffic at the line.
Dean had way too many bad plays but he's young so I'll give him a year or 2 to iron them out

When Brady became the quarterback for the Bucs it took a lot pressure off the defense to do so much. The Bucs finished +8 in the turnover differential which ranked them 6th Best in the 2020 NFL Season.

Defense line is so GOOD. Devon, JPP, Shaq, Antoine, Suh, Vita Vea, Lavonte, O'Connor, sean murphy bunting, Edwards, Davis, whitehead its so hard to choose which among them is the MVP for the defense line but JPP is my fave ❤️

Aintoine Winfield Jr and Tristan Wirfs both played a huge part in this team the next step. Obviously Brady more then anyone but those 2 came in were pro bowlers off top

Yeah Tito, White is a MASSIVE presence on the field...probably everywhere else too. He is phenominal at everything! He's a raptor with great visual acuity...and as mean and tough as a male bear in the spring. You can tell his teamates KNOW IT. And I've got massive respect for EVERYONE on this Defense! Just loved this video.

YEAH....It's wierd. THIS Bucs Defense...is really "OFFENSIVE"...against the opponents Offensive Line. They are called the "Defense"...but in reality, they are ATTACKING players Defending the QB. We call them the Defense...and I understand why..to keep the QB and his weapons from gaining ground. BUT this BUCS D-LINE....IS VERY OFFENSIVE!!!

I was an eagles fan at the time so I hated Tampa bay but looking back- wow. They were so unreal. What a team. They deserved that Super Bowl and This team and ray lewis 2000 defense ravens were the best two I ever saw

Jpp i thought was a huge part in allot of these plays but not much talk about him prob bc he not a free agent but tell me he not a beast in that defense. Also I dig the visor lol like when I would make a player in games adding the visor was sweet
