- We have had the DJI Osmo Pocket for a few weeks now and have been surprised how it performs! In this review, we go over all the details of the gimbal and our findings with it. Comment below your thoughts and ideas for future reviews!

Can I charge, record, AND have the bluetooth accessory at the same time? (It looks like the bluetooth thing takes up the charging port)

First, people complain DJI Air has fixed focus, now they complain DJI Pocket has Auto focus, WTF do they want.
@@3goldfinger It's not about auto focus. The Auto focus is ok, but it doesn't work on close distances. The camera is not good at selfie at all. Only a longer stick will help, but it makes Pocket Osmo not pocket :).
@@AlexanderShelestov Time will tell when we get more videos when people get their Pocket. So far, I have seen some really good and also really bad samples.
Auto focus that doesn't work would be the issue. I'm sure it sometimes works but with a tiny screen my guess is people will think it's in focus, do their vlog, go home and face palm... then start using a pro camera again.
It seems to focus on the background more than the person in the selfie, in most reviews I’ve seen. Seems like a major flaw which I hope they fix in a firmware update.

How about the battery? can you change it or are there accesorry for extra battery? I also would like to know how the battery is on -1 degree C or below weather temp. I have to at least carry two extra batteries for my go pro when skiing the whole day , and change them everytime as the cold drains them easily.
Great content ... in daylight what shutter speed do you use? Can you follow 180 rule? Do you know if mavic 2 pro nd filters fit on this one?

Hi, does the osmo pocket splits the file if it reaches 4gb and have lost frames in between files or does it continuously records in 1 file?

How much memory does it hold on footage? SD card? Or internal like battery?
Do you know if it will active track an object in a 360deg pan continuously? For example if you walked around it in a circle several times will it continually track you?
If you use the face track in selfie mode does it follow you to the other side of the camera (180 DEG.)?

Does it look like the iPhone dongle will have issues with phone cases? Everyone I’m seeing using the Pocket has a naked phone or a case that has the entire bottle part of the phone exposed. I’d like to keep my case on while using that.

What photo shooting modes are available? I see DJI advertises a 9-shot panorama, and other sites have shown a 180-degree panorama. Can it also do other types, a photo sphere for example?
Is there an audio input on the DJI and can you use do to facebook live?
What about Vortex mode? Can I also recording in S-Log profile? Thanks
Do you still need to have your phone attached to have flat picture profile for video ?? Or can you have it also without the phone ?
Little bit late response, but maybe it's still useful to you. For more advanced settings you will need your phone to select those, however, all advanced settings are being saved and will be used even after the phone has been disconnected. So it's only needed to set it up once, and can then be used without a phone until you want to change something
have you tried the NightShot (handheld long exposure) photo mode advertised? I can't find any reviews covering this. Thanks.
Aside from it's size, what would you say the advantages are over the Freefly Movi, keeping things like Moment lenses under consideration?

can you charge the Osmo on the base, as in, it being ready to pick up and take out?
Dave this thing seems to me like a game changer for vlogging, or our style of mixed scene videos...especially with video quality to match our Panasonic cameras. Who cares if the in-body audio sucks, as long as you can hook up the rode video micro you’re still incredibly compact. Am I missing something?

The shot where you said it tracks and focusses on your face were out of focus... Does it hold focus well or get the background a lot.
When connected to the phone, is there a way to connect a mic?
The app is not yet available in play store and app store. Do you have a link from where I can download the app?
How well does the wireless addon connect to the osmo? You'd want to use wireless when the camera is mounted in places hard to reach (e.g. helmet, front forks, etc) and that accessory looks like it could just drop off if stressed and shaken.

For osmo pocket, is there any icon button for pause/resume?
Can it doubles as a dash auto cam with the quick release base?

This is the first time the 1080p 120fps it's been mentioned in all the reviews that I've seen. So without the accessory are you unable to play with camera orientation?
No one seems to mention where the videos are stored, is there internal memory or do they use micro SD cards?

Would you kindly answer a question for me? BTW, great video! I had it in my car the other night and I was trying to do a hyper lapse/time lapse, but I could not keep my gimbal focused on the road ahead. It’s like when I went around a curve, the gimbal would go there, and then it would just stay. What am I doing wrong? I just wanna film my morning commute from home to work, but in hyperlapse. Thank you SO VERY MUCH !!
Can it use with DJI app to produce video with musics automatically?
What about rechargingtime? How long does it take and can it be recharged from a booster while filming?
How can you activate the OSMO pocket with a phone without a usb C connector? Aside from the wifi base accessory, is there an adaptor? talked to DJI support, they have no idea if it is possible, and don't know how much the wifi base costs. Any info would be great!

Does it do 120FPS? The video shows it, but the DJI specs on their own site only says 1080p only goes up to 60FPS.

It has okay audio, but you often find yourself putting fingers on the mic...

How is it in low light? Compare to Hero Black 7, pixel 3 or mate pro 20.
Can I use it as a primary camera for by CZcams channels?. I usually make the sitting down, talking to the camera content.

@Kinotika - Great vid! What's happening at 3:10 -- it's tracking your movements, but your face is blurry! Is it too close? I'd think this would be a concern if you're a fair distance away from the camera.

I have a CZcams channel and use a LUMIX GH5 to shoot my vids. The only reason I picked it was 4K 60fps incase I wanted some slow mo shots. Turns out I have never shot in 60fps since I have had it and don’t really change anything in settings and never take pictures!! Am I better keeping the GH5 or will this be just as good for what I’m using it for??
FYI I am using GH5 in my last few vids (collecting BMW X5 and my iPhone XS Max vid).
Would really appreciate your opinion as I could do the 2k I could probably get for it as it’s like new!!

Audio is cracked. Any external audio option? If you are vlogging, gopro seems to make more sense since you can get external mic
