That was last years Sho Me 100 or more specifically it was the Friday night before (night 2 of a 3 night show) and it was in the B main. Bloomer didn't get to take time trials because one of his crew allegedly did something with the pill draw. Therefore he had to run the B-main. As you described he won it on 3 wheels. Then made it from the rear to 2nd in the a-main for that night. He had won the night before. The start of the Sho-me 100 on the 3rd night is determined by the average of the 1st 2 nights. So, this put him on the front row with Owens. He and Owens exchanged the lead a couple times, then with Bloomer chasing him down to make the pass, Owens over drove it and got into EPJ (a lap car). Then Bloomer walked away and finished off the weekend in classic Bloomer style.
Blaine Murray let you know when he has half as many wins has bloomshit. Let me know when Davenport has been racing half as long as bloomshit. And Davenport has the faster car at the biggest but he burnt up how tired to fast.
Forever young. Bloomquist is timeless. I have watched him win races since 1993, and his career started in the early 80s. Amazing.
