Honda continuing the tradition of putting sewing machine engines in its cars and plane engines in its motorbikes. Nice review. Subbed.
Haha 👍
I’ve had mine almost two months and I’m STILL getting used to sport mode. Best, most amazing motorbike I’ve ever owned. I can filter/ lane split
most of the time in California 🇺🇸; she’s not as wide as you think.
I do not own a bike, not even bike driving licence, but I enjoyed this video so much =D
what a machine
Dan great to see so much content recently. Your reviews are really well made and entertaining. Keep it up.
Thanks for watching.
Awesome review thank you! It is a great time to be alive. I never thought I would see a cool goldwing. I'm in love.
Superb.
"Dear Santa .......... "
Yeah, dear santa..
@@dleebox2268 Tell santa me too and I am prepared to pay for it too
I swore I'd never own a Goldwing back in the day. They were one of the ugliest looking bikes on the highway. This however, looks very good! They have that triangular form that I love to see on a motorcycle and it's angles are all great. Those red covers on the engine really make this thing pop.... and "pop" is not a word I'd ever have used on the older Goldwings. Lol
I absolutely love my 2020 wing tour! It’s such a pleasure to ride..
I watched another review of the Goldwing a few months ago and he too was very impressed by its sportiness. So THIS will be my next bike-- as soon as I win the lottery!
Sweet bike! DCT on a huge touring bike makes perfect sense.
Amazing bike. And I like the styling.
Sounds like a 2 wheeled accord v6 when it revs up
Your production and presentation are very nice.
We gonna reach bigger subs very soon
That sport mode really pulled you with it🤣
Just what I needed, an opportunity to live vicariously having just admired this beauty/beast at my local Honda dealer!
Oh wow! For a touring bike, this big baby seems pretty fast. What a beast. Truly mesmerizing.
I would love to be able to ride that around the U. S. for about twenty thousand miles!
Now I am in love with Goldwing and will value this bike from now on
this bike has more power than my car, what a beast! I dream to ride one of those in the countryside
most bikes have more power m8 :p
I agree Dan. It has a bit of the fire blade about it from the front on the revision and in the matt black with the red highlights it looks good. That engine note as well.
I have a ‘19 Tour DCT and I love it. So far, it’s my most favorite bike ever. Trunk, 4 speakers, heated seat, electronically adjustable suspension, taller windshield, and maybe something else I’m forgetting. If I had known that color scheme was coming for ‘20, I would have waited and bought that B model. Next time you try one, try shifting yourself in manual mode/sport mode, especially if you can find some twisties. Maybe in Scotland... I’d love to make that ride myself.
Love the colour of that bike, looks awesome and sort of futuristic.
Thanks Dan. Watching your video is helping me to get through a long COVID winter here in Canada. I can't wait to get back on the road come spring.
Thanks and I'm glad the vids are helping you get the through winter! 👍😘
Very nice review! The new gen Goldwing is an outstanding bike, that's why I've owned one for two years! 😁
Review so fun to watch I hammered that subscribe and like buttons!! Thanks Dan!
Thanks for the honest review Dan.. This is my favorite bite btw!
Beautiful review. You made me desire this bike completely.
Blessed to know what I want in life. Love the Gsxr but this thing just deserves so much respect
Great Video Dan I do quite like the DCT it’s so effortless. Think I’m going to add this one to my list to test. Take care Jake.
Thanks Jake, I am also a DCT convert and I thought I'd hate it. Cheers!
I'm here for the nice tour along English roads!
Wow!
This is really a huge road runner.
And your review awesome
Keep it up .
Probably the most naturally entertaining motorcycle review i've ever watched on youtube! Greetings from the far east. And i've been to scotland, twice. :D
Thanks very much! 😊
Sounds Incredible 🤯
Damn..i was literally riding along as i watched this video.. that is one awesome bike
The Bat- Bike comes with a price but with Honda, your getting relability for the entire time you own that beast ! What technologically advanced beautiful motocycle !! I Love It !!
Awesome bike I find I am now a convert to the gold wing they look so much sleeker these days if I could afford one I would definitely have one good review cheers : )
First Goldwing I find that looks awesome. Great review.
Since the redesign of honda holding they all look great.
Ah it was nice to see where you were riding. The A31 was my old stomping ground :)
Awesome beautiful bike ..... reminds me of my K1600 B ❤️
One of my dream bikes tbh.
Not really a fan of cars, more of a lifetime biker myself. One day when I'll finally settle down, you bet this'll be what you find me on.
Exactly how i feel
I wish I was twenty years younger! If this had been around when I was biking, I'd have bought one in a heartbeat!
Its never too old to ride
Phenomenal bike, love the review
This review and its acceleration reminded me of the Blackbird I had... I am watching RE Himalayan reviews to buy one and rode the CB500x in Thailand - its just not the same anymore. I am very confused what to get that is light and powerful, I don't want a forward leaning bike.
What a beautiful machine
Great review. Great bike.
Brilliant review once again dan, keep it up, and you should come to Scotland next year, brilliant biking roads everywhere 😂😂
Was meant to do NC500 this year. Hopefully next year!
@@Englishbikerdan I also supposed to be doing it next year as I've just got my a2 licence and have a 2013 cb500x to do it on, maybe we'll see each other on it haha
@@Englishbikerdan if you head up this way I know a few extra roads to do. As I live on the nc500 just message me
How times change. Not an ounce of shiny on a bike that used to be dripping with the stuff.
Flat six rumble love it, for its size seems nimble but it’s missing those Southern Californian rays just not the same riding around rainy Southern England - nice review
I agree, it's always better riding in the sunshine! 👍😎
They used the same graphics scheme as the non ATAS Africa Twin form 2020. Personally, it is my favorite color scheme.
Eventually they merged the Pan European styling with the Goldwing. Looks sooooo much better than fully dressed.Yummy
Lovely review Dan! Would be very interested in hearing your opinion on your favorite bikes in terms of comfort and performance
The problem is, most bikes these days are really good! I've been thinking about a top 5 bikes of 2020 video so maybe it'll happen :D
Hi Dan, do you have any plans to review a Honda Rebel 1100? I like watching your videos because I used to work in watchmoor Park and I recognise every part of your test route so can really imagine the ride! thanks!
I own 2014 F6B and l love my bike but the 2020 has taken it to a new level. The adjustable windscreen is a great idea especially for city riding in summer weather or light cruising speed in hotter climates. I live in Ontario Canada the southern region and our weather seems to have more extremes than Great Britain summers get to plus 35C and our winters get to -20C so l think windscreen adjustability is important and your right seems odd there is no heated seating. Great review, just thought I’d give you my opinion.
Appreciate it, that's a massive difference in temps!
I'm also in southern Ontario Shawn and I thought the exact same thing as you did when he mentioned lowering the screen and wondering why anyone would want to. I put my windshield down a lot in the summer, just to get some air in your face.
Do you have a link to the podcast you were talking about towards the end of the video? Also, big fan of the content as well as the picture and sound quality of these videos.
Great! Love it!!
Haha, my uncle owns the 2018 version! i was a passanger on it and it was really really fun! Epic bike! :D
They are great fun eh, even as a pillion!
Man that's beautiful!
Pirbright bends... lovely road!
Great review, thanks Dan. I think I'd be a bit bothered about what happens when your foot his gravel, stopping on a cambered road. Lovely to ride, a bugger to move about in and out of the bike shed. Happy Christmas Dan.
Yeah she's a big girl at a standstill but light on her feet! Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year too Ross!
That’s why there is a creep forward and reverse mode. No issues.
Wow what a behemoth!! 😳
As an Aussie. I am fed glad to see pommie reviews. Sick of seeing Americans ramble on like it’s a reality tv show. Thanks for the good review mate. 👍🏻
Thanks dude, I just ramble on like I'm on Antiques Roadshow instead! :D
Not having adaptive cruise control on the DCT Goldwing does seem like an omission; that and an onboard urinal would be welcome additions.
Love the bike! Reminds me of the Moto Guzzi MGX-21
I love my Yamaha FJR1300, but that Goldwing is tempting.
I've had my Goldwing for 19yrs, getting time to buy another one
Do it! 😁
Nice vid , Dan 👍
It makes me think of a Harley from a distance seen from the side...?
I never liked this bike but this one looks modern and ‘sporty’, I’m pleasantly supprised actually ☝️
Yes, definitely that Harley bagger vibe. It is quite pleasant to look at and really plush to ride! Thanks!
I've been thinking of getting a big cushy-bike like this. Because I like power (I currently have a Ducati Diavel 1260 S as my main bike), I was thinking of getting a Triumph Rocket 3 as more of a 'long range' riding bike and putting a nice big windshield on it. If you've ridden the Rocket 3, can you share your thoughts comparing it to the Gold Wing? I know the power us much less on the Gold Wing. But I'm assuming the comfort level is way higher.
Hey, I've not ridden the Rocket 3 yet but it'll happen when it warms up a bit here so keep an eye out. I'd love to ride a Diavel. Cheers 👍
Love from Kerala 😊♥️
Goldwing vs rocket 3 gt ? still undecided what to buy when my six numbers are drawn on a Saturday
I wonder if Honda will make them in left hand drive since you only need the right now.
Yes love these bikes someone rides scooters would love ride one of these !! What about rideing in snow😁
i loved your type of video thx for thıs review greetings from turkey
Thank you too!
what is the mount you use to mount your gopro? thanks for the great content
Man, how I wish Honda did the black/red color scheme for the 2021 tour ...I might've needed to trade in my '14 murdered out black Goldwing for it if they did! 😁
The red valve covers with the red accents on the wheels and bags looks wicked ...sorta reminds me of the '21 CVO Roadglide Black Hole paint scheme.
I want this.....damn it...I wasn't into all this until now.
I can at least cry for this motorcycle. It's free
I like it's previous model
I too never thought I would ever consider a Goldwing, these newer ones arent sexy, but they are much less ugly 😁 sounds great, cant wait to try one (manual).
In a Review it would be nice if you took the bike on the road when its dark so you can see all of the lights on it (dashboard etc...)
I love that enormous sheet of glaring plastic covering the instruments.
My dream bike
The tech in this thing.. I never thought I’d see this in motorcycles
Same here
"I don't mind admitting that I actually think ", that might be the most British start of sentence I've ever heard 😀. Fantastic bike !
We're nothing if not polite! 😂
Nice review. Seems odd with out shifting. But I look forward to trying
Wow 🤩 great 👍
Nice tourer , please make a video explaining the different octane rating of gasoline and petrol with example of which bike uses what 🙏👍
It sure is nice. That sort of subject isn't really of interest to me. I just call it "go go juice". :)
I think the windshield would lower for when ur in a hot environment n need a cool down I'd imagine
What a beauty
I like the Gold Wing, it looks kind of like a big scooter. I want one...
You want everything man
I looks indeed as a scooter, to many it be the reason to not buy it.
The older Goldwing models looked much nicer to many
Good video! I fancy the bagger but no heated seats? That’s a must!
Gotta get the tour
The perfect bike❤️👍❤️👍
2:40 damn that sounds like a Porsche! I guess I shouldn't be surprised considering the engine configuration hahah.
I was coming up on that time stamp, ready to call you a liar, but as an owner of a 997 4S for 2 years, I can say with full confidence that you are correct.
I would love to ride it, I am a DCT fan, but I wouldn't like to handle the weight. One slip of the boot and you are over then you need a couple of weight lifters to get it back up again. My NC750X is heavy enough... Good clear review, subscribed.
Thanks Steve! Yeah she's a big girl!
Great review, do the NC500 when you're in Scotland, go clockwise and do Applecross, a MUST, when you get to the very top left (Durness) drop back down through the middle (at Tongue). Awesome country. Well worth a week. Climb Ben Nevis when you're there - great SYHA hostel right under the mountain. Enjoy! Don't go on a bike wih a wee fuel tank.......you'll run out on a Sportster!
Is it the best touring bike you've ridden? As an example... If you were to tour the US for a year, would this be your bike of choice?
Definitely the most comfortable!
Nice keeping the same styling with other models, so there's no manual gear changes, am i right thinking its full auto?
There is a manual switch, same as the Africa Twin but on this bike full auto just felt right.
Dual Clutch Transmission. CZcams it. It’s an amazing technology.
Excellent review, what a beast and lovely sound, both Bike and you, especially giving it some beans, my GS is quite big but would be dwarfed by this super looking machine. Do you use GoPros for your blogging, I do and have awful issues with poor audio, as in crackling, plenty of advice out there but none of it works for me, how do you cope, any issues, tips always welcome? Ride safe and have a good one.
Thank you! Yes I use a GoPro Hero 7 with the mic adapter and a Sony lav mic in my lid. I've heard of popping issues with some cheaper mics.
@@Englishbikerdan thanks, yes lav mike and adapter also, all cables taped up and adapter, you’ve not any issues then? Maybe try a different mic,Cheers 🥂
One more if you don't mind, do you have the mic adapter separate from your gopro, as in mounted on your helmet or as I have an Ulanzi case with the mic mounted underneath the Gopro?
interestingly @Derek Holme I looked up the measurements for this and it's actually 50mm narrower than my 1250gs ADV quite a bit longer though ;)
That sound is amazing, seems like a luxury V8 car
Hehe, flat 6 like a Porsche. Absolutely lovely sound. 👍
👏squeeze👏the👏bike👏more, but seriously though how do you think guys hold onto drag bikes?
When you were turning left onto the road, my brain screamed "Thats the wrong way!" Lol oops. Cheers!
How is it in slow crawling traffic?
awesome
