I'm Korean...and to me this means like...ur p3nis getting harder because of all the sexual appeal in the game...nothing to do with the American meaning whatsoever...lol
I'm also playing un-patched, I already met that npc, got teleported there from the Wasteland, when I was leaving I just ran past there I didn't even notice that cuz I'm a normal functioning black person, not looking for racism every goddamn where I look...
Playing it un-patched just because you're easier to offend than the tiny number of journalists who wrote the articles about it makes you worse than them.
When I saw Hard R, I immediately thought of the rating system. Like when movies come out there is a Hard "R" for really explicit material. I never even made the connection to the N-word until someone brought it up, and even that is tenuous at best. Why would Korean devs concern themselves over the social politics of American culture? I do believe that the graffiti censorship was a virtue signal to give them cart blanche to censor other aspects of the game they deemed "problematic." I wish the developers negotiated a better exclusivity contract instead of just blindly trusting Sony to fulfill their vision.
IGN complained loudly about this but also uses "hard R" in the exact sense you mentioned *frequently* apparently it's only racist *because* it was put there by Korean devs. the only winning move is not to play
I dont even know what Hard R means. Even with google, I don't know how it related to racism. WHy listen to sick journalists pandering to people who won't even play or PAY the game.
@@KainsAddiction I'd rathe not know what that word means rather than be a moron that looks for something to get offended on everywhere they look. When they can't find one, they'll make one.
Was there any real outrage other than some small articles that mentioned it? It's mostly the "wah, I'm offended by people being offended" group making it bigger than it actually is.
@elementblue780 Oh no, i dont think anyone cared, i just like that it is clearly an issue with language, and Koreans do not understand Western racial slurs, but Sony is the now LA based, company being scared. All in all, i think the censorship of Stellar Blade isn't the worst, and it's nice to see that the movement to fix instead of boycott.
The Hard R graffiti is uncensored while in the Day One patch, this got censored into Crime R instead of Hard R. Still funny why they find this particular graffiti as offensive because there's nothing offensive from this
I still don't have the slightest idea of what the hard r means asks why it's racist. Not even after i read an explanation about it. Still doesn't make sense.
@elementblue780 no, really, I thought they were alluding to the hard earned R rating to their game Still think that was the idea, why in heaven would they want to have racism in their game? With what purpose?
Then I guess "normal" people outside the states are all morons because it's extremely easy to see how "hard r" can have racial connotations. It doesn't mean that it was intentional, but it doesn't take a genius to make the connection.
As a Black Man, i thought the Hard R was funny. I mean, I never thought i would ever see that on a wall in a video game😂
This game wasn't made by white people, some people are just looking for reasons to be offended.

It's not even racism. It's just a description. What is even better is now it says CRIME R. A crimer in Britian is a black man who commits crime. LOL
I thought it was funny when I first saw it online😂
When I first saw it I thought it meant harder with no e 😂

Trust me, you don't need to know what the Hard R means. It could mean many things, but journalists decided that it meant the racist version.
I could play it unpatch, but that damn Film Grain is hurting my eyes and the only way to get rid of it is with the patch F You Sony.
I hope Kim Hyung Tae resolves issue on restoring the uncensored version.
Demanding the "uncensored" version back is just as stupid as demanding the "censored" version. Who gives a shit.

The outrage about the wall being fixed is completely understandable, i just find it funny that Shift Up made an oopsie and Soyny was like "PANIK"

no no no, only pussies with rainbow hair cut are sensitive in america
Fuck the journalists! I'mma buy this game when it gets a steam release.
dunno if they are that innocent. Especially, if you know how they named one of the robos

also costumes are uncensored here. and gore
Nothing. They changed the graffiti because it was considered unintentionally racist. People just don't know what actual censorship is.
